Almost one year ago, Witness was released. It divided many, with plenty naming it a disappointment compared to her previous work but others appreciating the change in style for Katy. Where you do stand? Has Buzzjack's opinions changed since the http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=202602? Let's see.

A couple of tracks are bumped down due to overplaying so I'd say the biggest growers are Miss You More and Roulette defo. Roulette may seem weird as I gave it a 10 but it's now by a mile by favourite there, what an incredible track and a travesty it wasn't a single
'Miss You More' is stunning and I don't know why it took me so long to realize that!

I don't think I did the first rate, as when the album first came out I really wasn't into it. I remember on first listen I turned it off by the time I got to Swish Swish. I have listened to the album since then, but as its not my favourite album by Katy, I haven't listened to it a lot. So this morning I played the album on full on Spotify on the way home from work. (The last two songs weren't on Spotify so I'll find those out tomorrow morning on my way home and add those in) Overall, its still not my favourite album by Katy, I'm a much bigger fan of her earlier stuff on OFTB and TD

One year on, I don't dislike it *as much* as I did when it was released. It's still kinda disappointing, there's nothing strong enough to stand as a single besides the singles she released already (Chained, Bon, Swish), and even those pale a bit next to Teenage Dream era and stuff like Dark Horse. Having said that, vocals are good and production is solid, the boringness and bad lyrics drag a lot of the songs down.
