Chart Commentary

A big thank you to all those 9 of you who commented on last week's personal chart, including twentyonemdh, Jason, moth09, Sven10, Dobbo, popchartfreak, PeteFromLeeds, HarryEzra and Mango.

The bandits hold on to the top spot for now a third week beating off stiff competition from new (rather belated) entry from Cheat Codes & Dante Klein who have to settle for second best. This highest new entry has been on the radar for some time but only recently gathered some appeal and has now shot into the chart like a bullet.

Dance acts Jonas Blue and The Chainsmokers get ever closer to the top of the charts with their latest offerings. This has meant that pioneers Röyksopp have fallen out of the Top 5 at last after dominating the charts for some 9 weeks. Another dance act narrowly missing out on the Top 10 this week is a new entry by Naughty Boy.

Sean Paul & Dua Lipa enter at #14 this week just behind Charli XCX who climbs to #13 in her fourth week. The Vamps are up to #16 with All Night.

Other new entries this week include Emeli Sande, Tory Lanez, Rag'n'Bone Man and Olly Murs.

This has meant that we must say chart goodbyes to Matoma & Becky Hill, Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson, Frenship & Emily Warren, Felix Jaehn feat. Alma, Majestic and KDA feat. Tinashe.
