First one easily, was all so brilliantly original, hilarious and fresh and it still took me by real surprise that there was actually a really good story in what was essentially a film designed to sell toys. Batman was great, but it's a hard act to follow. Haven't seen Ninjago and from what I've read, I don't want to. Out of all the lego themes, why Ninjago (whatever that is)?

Is none an option?

(at least the Batman movie was bearable of the two I've seen so I'll go with that.)

As much as I hate the ending of the first movie, the rest of it is still absolutely brilliant and remains the best of the franchise. Lego Batman was still a very worthy follow-up though!

I opted for Lego Batman. I think I just appreciated the humour way more in it due to the DC related jokes and familiar characters. Plus, the villains from other properties cameos were a lot of fun and I remember proper geeking out at that when watching it as I had managed to avoid spoilers.
