I am on a list with Sony to buy direct, got an invite last month that was filled with technical issues so no one got any. They resent it for thurs so cross your fingers for me!

Wait that’s the email I got!  that’s technically what prompted this post today as I checked the site and it still said no availability but in the email it did say the 16th so I will check again then. I have no idea what to expect though and I doubt I’ll get lucky this time of year.

I got one!!!! Took half a dozen attempts to get through their payment system but made it in the end 🙌🏻
Couldn’t get a digital one but went with the disk one instead. Will relegate my poor PS4 to dust status now |

Xbox has bought Call of Duty. Playstation responded by buying ... Destiny 2 :/ Xbox has unfortunately won, ans not thanks to good gaming or strategy, or anything lile that, but by strong-arming the market.

I finally ordered a PS5 today from the official store online!
 If anyone has any tips or suggestions on setup please let me know, I’m hyped that this becomes the fifth different PlayStation model I’ve bought in my lifetime, staying loyal to Sony all these years! |

So, there’s a special library of PS+ content for new PS5 owners. You can get, for free, a mountain of the best PS4 games. It’s such a good deal. I’d get that on the go asap Remember to use the stand! This is a great guide on the basics: |

Thanks Phil that’s great! I watched the video you shared and there’s lots for me to do once I set up for the first time, I’ll be sure to save PS4 games previously purchased to a external hard drive for ease of storage. Great tips.
