Chart Commentary

"Hello once again, this is the only place to find out this week’s Top 40 Countdown by awardinary.

Please allow me to thank the following 5 people who took the time both to view and comment on my personal chart last week: Daan, Sergej, Jade, Cowntry Roads and JSG. Responses to your comments are in the below post.

No chance in the top 2 this week which means Jax Jones manages another week at #1 with Wilkinson firmly holding on to second place. The highest new entry this week currently remains a mystery due to an upcoming BuzzJack Song Contest that the song has been entered for. It will hopefully be revealed by next Wednesday evening.

What I can confirm is the identity of 5 other new entries this week which are from Otto Knows, Griff & Sigrid, Clean Bandit, Diplo & TSHA and Purple Disco Machine & Agnes.

The chosen Track of the Week this week is Run by Becky Hill & Galantis who climb to a new peak this week. The biggest climber though is in fact a song that has been in the chart for some six weeks but it achieves a surprise new peak this week and that’s Luude with Down Under. Also climbing is Sigala, Shouse, Goodboys, Cheat Codes, CamelPhat and Wilkinson.

The Motto is now the longest running song in the chart due to Jethro Heston & Max Marshall dropping out. They are joined with Topic, Robin Schulz, Nico Santos, Paul van Dyk, Alesso & Katy Perry, Sam Fender, Bastille and Sammy Porter who all exit the Top 40.
