Following the highly acclaimed The People v OJ Simpson, the next American Crime Story explores the Assassination of Gianni Versace with the cast including Darren Criss, Ricky Martin and Penelope Cruz.

It is currently airing on FX in the US and BBC Two in the UK! So far, it has 85% on Rotten Tomatoes showing that the show is keeping up with the first season. However, the ratings are drastically lower than the OJ Simpson series.

The Versace famly have released a statement criticising the series stating hey have "neither authorized nor had any involvement whatsoever" in the production of the season, before adding that it "should only be considered as a work of fiction."

Series based on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal are in development.
