I remember her being mentioned in the plot when the movie was first announced.
Apparently she was sold after the second, and in part of this move they have to find her. |

Hmmmm. I love the characters and Toy Story 3 is one of my favourite movies ever, but I'm not feeling hyped about this one. The last one ended so perfectly, I wanted them to just leave it there and maybe just do a few more of the short movies like The Land That Time Forgot or Toy Story of Terror, as they were amazing.
There were parts of that trailer that looked like rehashes from the previous movies. I'm really disappointed that this isn't making me excited at all. |

The original trilogy is perfect and couldn't have ended on a better note, but I was definitely a lot more concerned before the trailer. We'll see, I'm cautiously optimistic. I was worried about Toy Story 3 at the time, too. This post has been edited by blacksquare: Mar 19 2019, 02:26 PM |

It's a good trailer, it's a nice touch focusing on home made toys, but yeah there are parts that look like straight rehashes of Toy Story 2 so I'm not yet quashed of any doubts.
The thing is I'm sure it will be a good film, I trust Pixar with that, but it's a question of whether it's NECESSARY, which clearly wasn't the case with Monsters University and Finding Dory even though they were solid films. |

Could this be one sequel too far possibly? I hope to be proved wrong with this. Which I quoted about four years ago, From the trailer. I think that this is going to be one sequel too far. Wasn't really hyped seeing the trailer unfortunately. Like people have said it does look like rehashes of Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3. Hopefully when it comes out in the cinema, I'll be convinced. |

Bo Peep could she to be trying to the one that looks to be the Stinky Pete, Lotso version 3.0 of Toy Story 4?

Oh I so want this to be great but that trailer doesn't fill me with hope! There's no hint of a deeper meaning there at all.

The first reviews for this are out and it's currently 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
I seriously have no idea how they've apparently made a satisfying follow-up after '3' was such a perfect way to end the franchise but I cannot wait to see it. I should never have doubted Pixar! This post has been edited by LewisGT: Jun 13 2019, 05:08 PM |

They have previously been reluctant to release a Toy Story film unless its very good. The original Toy Story 3 was scrapped because it wasn’t up to scratch.

My review of it on Letterboxd:
I have it 4/5 QUOTE It's a testament to the franchise when "the worst in the series" still gets a 4 out of 5 lmao. It's just as charming as the other 3 movies and still packs just as much emotional punch.
The thing that lets this down over the others is that, it does kinda feel a bit pointless and unneeded. The ending was cute and, yes, I did shed a tear or two. Not "great" but still v good. |
