Hello Jade!
Great that " Jumpsuit" got to the top 3, it's the best thing that TOP did since the "Blurryface" album! And I also like the debuts for "She Loves Control", "Love It If We Made It", "Palo Santo" and "Friends"! "She Loves Control" could and should be Camila's next single, it is perfect for the summer season. "Love It If We Made It" is a great follow to "Give Yourself A Try", can't wait for the new album of the 1975. "Palo Santo" is another great single from Years & Years's new album. And "Friends" is also another great single from Raye! Great chart as always! |

Hi Jade
04. Claptone - Birdsong (feat. Zola Blood) [12-03-02-02-04] 06. Au/Ra & CamelPhat - Panic Room [14-05-04-08-06] WHAT a song, and I am absolutely floored that Au/Ra is only like 15??? 08. Ariana Grande - God is a woman This sounds totally up my street, so while it didn't click on first listen I'm sure it'll grow! 11. The Carters - APESHIT [13-09-11] 13. Freya Ridings - Lost Without You Amazing to see this so high on iTunes this week It's so fitting that Rich sent this to BJSC since it shares its title with a Delta Goodrem hit! 14. Childish Gambino - This Is America [02-02-03-01-02-06-11-14] 15. Green Day - American Idiot [12-15] 16. Christine and the Queens - Girlfriend (feat. Dâm-Funk) [01-01-02-04-04-07-13-16] Finally giving this a first listen now, sounds very Prince-inspired or is it just me? Very nice! 17. Camila Cabello - She Loves Control 21. Jorja Smith - Blue Lights [07-06-08-15-21] 23. Clean Bandit - Solo (feat. Demi Lovato) [05-03-05-05-09-12-17-23] 31. Charli XCX - Focus [30-17-21-31] 34. 5 Seconds of Summer - Youngblood [29-22-30-13-16-19-24-34] Nice chart! |

Hey Jade ,
As you’ve likely gathered by now I am back to doing my own weekly personal chart , yes it is the return of the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary. Part of my reasons for doing this was not only to express my enjoyment of music but also to give my opinions on what music others are currently enjoying too! With that in mind, let me share my opinion on your chart! My highlights from your chart at the moment are twenty one pilots, Christine & The Queens, Au/Ra & Camelphat, The Prodigy, Gorgon City, Clean Bandit, Disclosure and Duke Dumont. Wow so many bops! Do you have a public playlist of your personal chart either on Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube? If so I would be interested in following it (if I don’t already!). Also I’d just like to add that it’s my privilege to be asked to be one quarter of the moderating team here in the personal charts forum, and just like the other 3, I want you to find me approachable too. I hope I can continue to make this forum an enjoyable experience for everyone! |

01. BROCKHAMPTON - 1999 WILDFIRE [03-01] (Nice to see them back with new material, even though Sir "I"-a-lot has been booted out. 02. twenty one pilots - Jumpsuit [05-02] (I actually prefer the B-side. "Nico And The Niners") 06. Au/Ra & CamelPhat - Panic Room [14-05-04-08-06] (I love this type of progressive dark house music, it provides a gloomy atmosphere very well) 07. The Prodigy - Need Some1 (YAY!!! THEY'RE BACK!!!) 09. Orbital - Tiny Foldable Cities [04-02-01-03-07-09] 10. BROCKHAMPTON - 1998 TRUMAN 11. The Carters - APESHIT [13-09-11] 14. Jorja Smith - Blue Lights [07-06-08-15-21] 22. Arca - Desafío [01-03-07-11-16-22] (Did you know that there's a white label 12" of Reverie with the sleeve containing the disc wrapped in a fishnet) 23. Clean Bandit - Solo (feat. Demi Lovato) [05-03-05-05-09-12-17-23] 25. Years & Years - Palo Santo 29. Ariana Grande - the light is coming (feat. Nicki Minaj) [09-13-16-20-29] 31. Orbital - P.H.U.K. [22-20-25-35] 39. Duke Dumont - Inhale (feat. Ebenezer) [06-06-09-15-18-22-27-39] CHART FLASHBACK (2015) what I was charting this exact week in a different year 02. Hey Jade , hope things less busy for you this week! (Know that feeling, not had time to enjoy this summer weather yet at all, not even a few hours out at the beach!)
I like your new number 1, jazzrap I'd call it. Jumpsuit is good too, and your 3 & 4 are side by side in my chart too Panic Room still cool, I like Ariana's, fab to see Freya in your chart too And Palo Santo I like it more than the poppier current single, hoping it's the next single. Great to see RAYE sneaking in too, and loads of goodies still sprinkled about your chart like Chic, Clean bandit, Christine... great stuff |

Hi Jade!
Just giving your #1 a listen, I'm sure it's not the surprise of the century that I'm not a fan It sounds alright I guess... Lots of new entries though the new Prodigy sounds very them, I'm sure it'll grow on me with more listens, Lost Without You is great as well, hope that can really take off officially! Just giving the new Watermat a listen, I quite like it but it's very different from what I remember him from! Great chart |

BROCKHAMPTON x2 in the top 10 and at #1! I whole-heartedly approve - '1998 TRUMAN' is another groovy banger from them and I love the chill breakdown at the end
'Panic Room' is lush too, so glad it made the official top 40! Glad to see some love for 'Tiny Foldable Cities' here too, I just discovered Orbital and they've got some bangers Fab chart! |

Hi Jade!
Good to see so many new entries, I do like a chart with a fast turnover. My favourite of them is probably 'Palo Santo' - one of the best tracks on the album for sure. It's taken me a couple of listens but I am quite getting into the album now. Shame it couldn't make #1! Is 'She Loves Control' confirmed as Camila's next single? If so, great choice! I don't like much else on the album really apart from what's been released. Not overly convinced by new Ariana, 1975 or Prodigy really, though maybe I need to give them more listens. 'Jumpsuit' is very much growing on me though - your next Number 1 potentially? |

hi Jade!
arrow down.gif 04. Claptone - Birdsong (feat. Zola Blood) [12-03-02-02-04] great to see this finished highly, should enter my chart this week ne.gif 07. The Prodigy - Need Some1 it's a decent comeback I guess, not up with their best but I don't expect they will ne.gif 08. Ariana Grande - God is a woman liking this about as much as 'the light is coming' now, not quite on the level of 'no tears' but quite good ne.gif 13. Freya Ridings - Lost Without You this is lovely, might eventually make my chart giving it a few more listens ne.gif 17. Camila Cabello - She Loves Control watch this not be a hit until October at this rate, when is it actually getting pushed lol ne.gif 19. deadmau5 - Monophobia (feat. Rob Swire) yay! brilliant from deadmau5 as ever ne.gif 20. The 1975 - Love It If We Made It not quite feeling this as with their last one ne.gif 24. Watermät - Need U good to have him release another single finally but it's not quite up to what we had from him previously ('bullit', 'fade' and 'won't stop' are all big 10/10s for me) ne.gif 28. Lucas & Steve x Brandy - I Could Be Wrong finally impacting jadakissnia! proper banger so of course it won't get a uk chart push ne.gif 40. RAYE - Friends this really seems to be going nowhere oops, Raye just isn't happening even with all the spotify pushing. oh well. it's a decent song but not a big hit great chart! |
