With On Your Radar to be released, I think it's a good time to watch where The Saturdays are on iTunes.

My Heart Takes Over is up 3 from 20 last night, and OYR is up from 188!
How's OYR doing on Irish iTunes?
Well it's not in the top 10, but it's #7 on the 'Pop album charts' if that's any help?
Will be intresting to see if JCGE jumps up itunes after being used on X Factor when Little Mix met The Saturdays
MHTO down to 24 on itunes.... waaah!
On Your Radar currently #15 on iTunes.
OYR still #15. Can't wait to get my copies soon.
#14 on iTunes now!
Do albums tend to get the top 10 exposure boost like the singles do on the iTunes homepage?

Btw, Faster was confirmed by Radio1 as single 3 today! " Coming up next the new single from The Saturdays from their album out today"
OYR was #11 on iTunes, back down to #12 now.
The way people were going on about Last Call being the most cherry picked album track I expected it to be top 200 at the least! Good lord.
I'm somewhat dissapointed with the way the tracks are (or aren't in this case) being cherry-picked.
Last year with Headlines, all bar one two tracks went into the iTunes Top 100 - Karma being the highest, and I'm sure it charted at something like #69 in the singles chart too.
This year with On Your Radar, nothing's even making the Top 300..

The only occasion non-singles have charted in the Top 200 for The Saturdays! Surprised Puppet didn't make the Top 200 as well, if those two got that high.
And yeah I hadn't taken that into account Aiden, that probabbly had something to do with it
Can we remember that Headlines got to number one on iTunes though? That obviously helped songs get heavily cherry picked, Ego went rocketing up after that as well and Higher debuted at #56.

So 'All Fired Up' could be Top 200 come Sunday?
They really need to capitalize on the post-Christmas gift card market. Single sales shoot up after Christmas because of people purchasing gift cards; And I feel with the reduction(s) it will benefit them further, especially when the Christmas music will be disappearing, fast.
Maybe All Fired Up could actually end up re-entering the top 100 if it keeps at this momentum.
163. The Saturdays - All Fired Up It's also got another 2 versions in the top 600!
Edit. 35minutes Later it's at #155 Around #138 when multiple versions of songs are removed! Lets hope they got top 100!
All Fired Up to re-enter the top 100 this week?
129. The Saturdays - All Fired Up
Taking away all multiple versions they are #118.
Hope for at least towards the top of the 101-200 area. Will be a nice climb from #166.
Jay, Can You do another Update Please
121. The Saturdays - All Fired Up (#107 when taking away multiple versions)
I think 95-110 is the most likely destination for All Fired Up this week! Where are their other versions in the top 1000

105. The Saturdays - All Fired Up (It looks like top 100 is a certainy this week, hopefully top 75)
247. The Saturdays - All Fired Up
I just looked at the iTunes most downloaded songs, and it seems that AFU has fropped from 'almsot top 100' to 146, and that's the only instance on the top 200. What made it jump so high the last couple of days and then fall so far today? Am I even looking at the right thing?!
146. All Fired Up
363. All Fired Up
551. All Fired Up

Lol. All Fired up is not #147. The itunes is still dodgy.
The Saturdays - All Fired Up #109
The Saturdays - All Fired Up #239
Oh great, I didn't realise there was a problem with itunes!
So as it's so high on the iTunes chart, and I would guess it will enter the top 100 does that means it has a good chance of re-entering the actual UK top 100? Or is that a bit too optimistic?
Sean it should enter the top #90 this week, what is good news and it should also pass 200,000 this week as well!
They're currently #107 and #240 and have another version top 1000.
Multiple Songs Above Them
Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger
One Direction - Don't Know Your Beautiful X2

Re-Enter the top 200?
I don't think it will pass 200k, this week anyway. By week 9 the total was 174k. We've been left in the dark a bit with sales estimates since then, and there's been 6 weeks after that where they've been in the Top 200 (week 10 to 15). This week will be it's 16th week in the Top 200, hopefully it's 11th week Top 100. I'd say it's done a maximum of 10k out-side the Top 100, so I think by the end of this week it will be on a total of 190k give or take.
The Saturdays - All Fired Up #99
The Saturdays - All Fired Up #259 (...lol figures)
The Saturdays - All Fired Up #466
My mistake lee
Is 200k a good figure for The Sats? Is it good by other people's standards?
Ah OK! Thanks for the info. Fingers definitely crossed that it will reach the 200k mark then, I think it deserves it. What about with albums? Is 200k good for those too? Or can they be *successful* when selling less because of the higher price?
Erm, I think they will above 6,000+ this week. Sales will be massive this week!
Thank you again.
That figure just emphasises how badly OYR has flopped, it sucks 'cos it's such a great record. Hopefully AFU re-entering the top 100 will boost the sales of the album a little.
I'm not kidding myself that it's gonna make any difference though
Well its official total was 184,979 on 4th December. It depends how much it sold on 11th, 18th and 25th, at the positions #184, #166 and #108 respectively. It's definitely not as much as 7.5k, for sure.
I think Vidcapper has over-estimated the total somewhere along the way. He gave an estimation of 188k after the 11th Dec chart. Selling 3k at #184 doesn't happen. Then his estimation after the 18th Dec chart was 189.5k - i.e. 1.5k sales at #166.
I'd shave off at least 2k of that 192.5k off, so I'd say its current total is around 190.5k.
I see, so even after this week they will still be just under? That's not a problem. I think 200k is inevitable eventually, especially with the next single release, people will go back to download AFU and get it the extra couple of sales it'll need.

Does anyone know where On Your Radar was? I just randomly checked and it's at #254 in the UK, is 30 Days giving it a bit of a boost or was it there anyway?
The album has been reduced to £5.99
Quite frustrating to see them having no songs in the top 1000, even All Fired Up dosen't enter at the weekends.
Higher was used in the background on 'The Voice UK' for the final battle today. Hopefully it's had some effect!
Notorious has still failed to re-enter the top 1000 despite being reduced to 59p.
notorious surpassed up for me as my favorite sats song. and IT is their best song. it's edgy, it's not catchy like shit ego and that's a good thing, it's dancey ang very big track
i understand why people don't like it like some other their songs because they used to get basic songs like ego and when they record something with edge people don't like it

F****** hell at 30 Days I don know why I thought it may go
Wow. Just one more week in the Top 200 for 30 Days then.
I can't say I'm at all bothered, it's their second worst ever single behind 'Issues' for me and I would actually say every On Your Radar track is better.
I'd say it's done its job to keep their name out there, let's hope they don't keep wasting chances and actually bring something great for next time around! They can't surely get many more?
Tbh, I don't get the Issues hate, I love the ballad and was my favourite track from Chasing Lights.
121. The Saturdays & Flo Rida - Higher (I'm thinking this is likely of becoming their biggest selling single, as no doubt it will shift around 5k in the next 3 weeks)
191. The Saturdays - 30 Days
I love Issues, don't worry Lee.
127. The Saturdays & Flo Rida - Higher (I'm thinking this will go in the charts around #110-#120 this week, would love it to go top 100)

They seem to jump up massively overnight in the UK (obviously that's at a different time in the US) because they climbed at least 75 places when I woke up this morning and yesterday morning.
Hopefully this next week they sort their airplay out (whether by doing radio stuff or the song picks up by itself). The music video will go straight to the music channels straight away won't it? And they have Jay Leno and The Today Show coming up.

It's only morning in most places in America aswell so hopefully sales will increase over the next few hours.
This is going surprisingly well, especially considering the song was lingering in the mid 500's yesterday on the main US iTunes right? Let's hope the momentum keeps going. I like to think management chose this song as lead single/international debut simply for the irony of the title on their discography list (should it all go well). 'What About Us'... as though the girls are asking the US/Canada/rest of world 'What About Us??' before the *real* second single smash haha (hopefully that's why and they've much higher standard material... though this track has crept up on me out of nowhere and grown on me leaps and bounds). The last minute of the song is pure brilliance.
They are constantly moving up aswell, they were 189 a few minutes ago, then 183 then a minute or so later - 181! Hope this continues. I also think they are being managed so so much better right now in the US than they probably have been since the Chasing Lights era in the UK, The Saturdays deserve success, but their career is just a series of awful desicions IMO sadly.
OMG I'm so proud!!! Hope this can break the top 100 soon!
I know it's nearly three years old here now but I think maybe Higher should be the next US single, it seems to be the one getting the most attention from new US fans who have discovered the rest of their songs. They could release the Flo Rida mix if they needed too as well
When are they on the Today Show?
Just to let you all know.
You can buy Chasing The Saturdays on Amazon UK for £9.52 (As an Import).
Just ordered mine Exciting Times.
#165 on US iTunes. 65 places off the top 100!! And this was like #480 yesterday!
This has got to be one of the quickest British climbs in a while. I mean, Olly and Cher were promoting for AGES before they even came anywhere near the top 100 (plus they had airplay). Right now Conor Maynard is below them and he's actually been sent to radio and has been promoting there for weeks. The Sats only started promoting six days ago.
Also up to #104 on Canadian iTunes!!
Omg I'm dying at Canadian iTunes! Good god I hope it gets a suddenly top 100 affect!
#162 US
#99 Canada
#155 USA
#94 Canada
#151 and #91 now.
I'm amazed it's still climbing. This needs to get sent to radio FAST before it starts to drop.
It's being 'impacted' on radios on the 17th, dont worry
They're doing the radio tour It's what Jessie J did and everyone was worried like this about the airplay, it began to played soo much!
#140 - USA
#79 - Canada
I'm amazed at how well they're doing. In Canada, is the chart sales based like UK? Or loads of added stuff like US? If it's sales, could it creep into the top 100 in the next week?
One last update from me for the night:
USA #137 (up 2)
Canada #73 (up 4)
Not bad considering just this morning the song was around the #400 mark on both Canada and US main iTunes charts.
Really hope they perform on The Today Show, could give them another boost (and then radio airplay/adds needs to get sorted).
^ Yes and if you read the last few sentences it says that the new chart used is the Canadian Hot 100 which "is based on digital download single sales data from Nielsen SoundScan and radio audience levels from Nielsen BDS." 2006 was a bad year for single sales as physical sales were rapidly decreasing and digital sales had not taken off yet. We're in 2013; 2012 was the largest year for single sales...
EDIT: Scream & Shout sold 24,000 to reach #1 on the Canadian Digital Songs chart..
I don't know what I'm expecting this song to do anymore, it's slowing down on iTunes which is quite obvious which would happen as sales are a lot higher. I'm fully expecting around 70-100/BubblingUnder, I don't think the show will give What About Us the greatest boost either!. I hope the Today show tomorrow puts them top 100 on iTunes, the worrying thing is that as I previously stated they only have two more television performances (Jeff Provst show will have no impact though).
What About Us | iTunes
USA - #128
Canada - #67 and dark green on Kworb
This is really good!
Pleased to see it's climbed as high as it has, I hope it keeps going. The radio is a worrying aspect though.
I hope it's a hit in Canada even if it flops in the US.
USA - #125

USA - #121 (slowly but surely)
Canada #55
#119 in the US now.
#54 in Canada.
Is anyone else shocked at how well this is doing already? I was expecting months of promo before it would even dent the top 200 and yet they only appeared on TV for the first time last week and they're at #119. And it's The Saturdays.

Amazing!
And people thought this song wouldn't even make the top 500. You were all pretty harsh on it. It's no All Fired Up or Higher, I agree with all of you, but it's certainly better than half of their other singles. Not in terms of the song you prefer, because there so much more to a "good single" than just that, but yeah, as a single, this song is strong and I could see it be a really minor hit in the US if radios could follow. But really, I think airplay is what going to make everything fall apart.
Hope it's Top 100 by the morning! Top 100 without airplay is amazing, hopefully the airplay will be decent and it'll take off.
Starting to slip a bit now on both charts. There's only so far they can go without airplay.
update?
US - #131
Canada - #57
It's still good to be honest. I mean, they barely have any airplay.
Should hopefully debut on the Canadian billboard top 100! If Chasing The Saturdays has a nice effect, It might hopefully debut top 75!
UK EP Preorder to #375
US to #152
Canada to #60
Have they even had any airplay yet?

USA - #195

It's 2:20, current iTunes positions.
Canada #79
USA #197
Edit 5:20
Canada #71
Usa #145
I would have quite happy to have seen it re-enter the top 150 in USA, But I'm really hoping it somehow manages to go top 100 on iTunes now.
#127 in the US now.
I think it's going to keep bouncing up and down between #100 and #200 for a while.
I hope it manages to sell enough for Bubbling Under chart at least! But I guess they still need a lot of airplay for that?
The show really helped the track then!? From #200 to #127! Just hope it continues to go up towards the top 100 on iTunes rather than nosedive again. Hmm... maybe we could request the song at radio stations?
#116 now!
Their peak was #106 last week.
EDIT - #115 now.
EDIT #2 - #114 now.
Should hopefully go top 100 tonight after Chasing The Saturdays, hopefully airplay will start picking up also now!
113. The Saturdays - What About Us (US iTunes)
63. The Saturdays - What About Us (Canadian iTunes)
I'm a HUGE fan of the girls but I didn't even think it would hit top 150 on iTunes even with Chasing The Saturdays (Given they don't sell brilliantly in the UK).
Brilliant to see all the coverage and the show itself is boosting sales..
Really hope they get a new iTunes peak after the show tonight.
Exciting times
It would make sense to have put the EP on pre-order on iTunes, to see how high it could get after Chasing The Saturdays.
110. The Saturdays - What About Us (It would be nice if it could go top 100 before the show, if it manages to climb into the top 80 byastic) the end of tonight, it would be fantastic, hopefully they return to the Us soon, I really think this could go at least top 40)
Currently 108 Hopefully tonight should boost this song into the Top 100!
Edit up two spaces to 106
Should find out in the next few days if it has had any impact on the Canadian chart.
What About Us was eventually sent to radio's today by Mercury, almost two weeks too late, however no doubt airplay should start picking up soon!

This is gonna stall at #102 and fall back down again isn't it? So annoyingly close!
Don't forget that Spotify streaming is plays a massive part in the Billboard Hot 100 chart so lets hope people are interested enough to get this song streaming!
At least it got a new peak of #103 on iTunes...
Let the dropping begin
#123 The Saturdays - What About us (Us Itunes)
#100 The Saturdays - What About Us (Canadian iTunes)
I really hope they come back over sometime next month (solid promo). They can't hope on the show doing something and airplay picking up!
Well, it's #114 now, so I guess it's going
Quite a big fall in Canada! #104 now.
Hopefully it can still managed to sneak into the Canadian Hot 100 this week, otherwise I guess we could be waiting a while!
I'm loving how consistant this is in the US. At #146 currently.
Imagine what WAU would do with huge loads of airplay.
At least it's selling without airplay. It'd be a bit of a disaster if it was having massive airplay and stuck outside the top 200 or something.
Tbh, I think it's really impressive that their still top 200 with very limited airplay. It wouldn't surprise me if What About Us is already on 20,000+ in the USA. Sales are incredibly higher in the USA.
Hopefully a new peak after Chasing The Saturdays. I predict #101/102!
132. The Saturdays - What About Us
280. The Saturdays - What About Us (Canada) I hope it manages to climb back top 150 after Chasing The Saturdays.
Before Chasing The Saturdays -
US - #177
Canada - #316
EP - Not top 200
Bit dissappointing none of their songs were cherry picked enough to even go top 1500 on the Pop Charts.
Come on girls, get to the US and promote!

I don't think Higher will even go top 1000, it should break the top 1500 tonight, it's frustrating that The Saturdays are not promoting the EP in the USA now as I believe the higher the album got on US iTunes the more cherry picked the singles could have been!
Chasing The Saturdays is #59 right now.

Little Mix's Wings has an adds date of the 19th Feb over there just for comparison (a month before they head over there! They aren't promoting in the US until March!)... nothing for The Sats yet. It's been sent to radio, but Mercury haven't sent an adds date for the track. Like they want them to fail.

I'm so proud, there are physical sales to factor in too so I hope they manage top 40 this week!
This week? No. Next week? Yes, maybe if they don't drop. The thing is they released it on sunday which is mid-week for billboard as they release their charts on thursday/wednesday. They'll only have 4 days to chart in the billboard charts and that won't be enough if they want to get top 40, next week, definatly yes and seeming as though I heard higher on the radio today, maybe it'll tip into the top 20
Ah crap yeah!
If you think about it this album is likely to outsell and peak On Your Radar!
They have done so well to hot the top 40 and this album has cost the record label nothing other than artwork and that was made by E!
I think we're getting ahead of ourselves a little. It's amazing they're at #37 with the EP but they're still a long way from the top ten. They might chart in the lower end of the top 200 this week and then climb a bit next week with the physical release added in (assuming the digital sales remain consistant) but I think expecting a top 40 position, never mind beating #23 is a bit much.
I'm so pissed off about the lack of radio updates. How can they STILL not have set an adds date for this song when it's been on iTunes since December, the video is out, they've done promo, the show has started and Little Mix have announced theirs already?!
What About Us #224
Higher #295
Well this is awkward.
What About Us isn't going to happen is it? If it can't get into the top 100 and is now falling constantly already I don't hold out much hope for it climbing back up. How ironic if Higher took off.
They should demote WAU to buzz single and release Higher instead. Theres obviously a demand for it.
They should have released Higher in the US around the time they released it in the UK and gone for it then. Of course this is all with hindsight and before the whole 'America loving the Brits' thing that's going on now so it would probably have been a harder task but even so. And what happened to those plans to release it in Germany too? Now there's going to be too much competition with Little Mix/Fifth Harmony both launching over there too this year etc and knowing The Sats luck it will probably be them out of the three who will miss out on any success and flop. Mercury are annoying now too, they never bother to really mention the girls but plug the hell out of Lawson all the damn time. They don't seem particularly invested or that bothered, especially considering everything promo wise that's taken place over there thus far has been down to E! and the reality show. Hmm, hopefully Mercury are saving it all for the next single.
That aside, I want an acoustic EP from them this year. Just a little side project/gift to fans a la Bieber's new acoustic album.
Wow, great to see 'Higher' doing so well.
228. The Saturdays - What About Us
280. The Saturdays Feat Flo Rida - Higher
How awkward... I would have put What About Us to $0.69. It really needs to climb.

989. The Saturdays - What About Us
I guess WAU is higher when it's combined with the other versions, though.
I guess if Higher was released in 2010/2011 it would have been easier for a decent peaking in the US considering the input from streaming was next to nothing.
Has Higher been used during the show?
I heard it on the radio a few days back but apart from that, not sure. Radios stopped playing WBU after it's radio airplay peak of 0.030. But today it's managed to take a start again at 0.025 according to kworb
What About Us is now only seven places in front of Higher.
Wow.. awkward
I genuinely do wonder what they'll do if Higher ends up going right in front while WAU continues to plummet.
What About Us - #250
Higher - #255
I know it's an older single but really, even before today with Higher doing well on iTunes, it screams a debut international pop single. It just sounds and feels right, much more than WAU does and ever will. It's just fun, catchy pop that appeals to everyone, whether they be old, young, a teen, male, female without alienating any of those audiences by being too sexed up etc lyrically.
So Higher has now overtaken What About Us.... lol.
Higher = #250
What About Us = #254

Well this campaign has been fascinating to witness.
Ooft. KEEP GOING 'HIGHER'! <3 (I always knew this would be the better song to launch within the US) Even though it's 3 years old now, they should have still gone for it as the lead single. It would have fared better! It's much more US radio friendly, than the euro-pop-dance sound of 'What About Us'!
Nice to see the EP hasn't drastically fallen away either!
I hope 'Higher' manages to get higher than What About Us did. Maybe they'll then scrap this release and run with Higher instead. Higher could easily be a top 10 hit for them worldwide compared with What About Us.
I'm not sure how it all works but since What About Us hasn't had an adds date on radio yet, couldn't they maybe send Higher instead and then release the video ft Flo Rida in a few weeks or something?
They could use the excuse that WAU was to promote the reality show and that Higher is the first proper single.
This is pretty much the story of The Sats careers. At least the Americans are proving a point with this haha.
Oh this is hilarious.

The plummet of What About Us is worrying, especially as there's not a Chasing The Saturdays this week.
I had a suspicion Higher was going to do this, I recall there were a lot of new American fans complaining that Higher wasn't on Itunes a few weeks ago
Tbh, Had What About Us been reduced like Higher, It would have been interesting to see if it managed to go top 100. What About Us has been reduced to $0.69 in Canada and has literally done nothing.
Airplay is also dropping in America from 0.030 to 0.025, Ouch.

Actually, in the past few days, the airplay was much lower than that, infact so low it didnt even register in the top 1000 readio plays. This is actually a re-start for the song
The thing is..What About Us has been released a few weeks ago now and Higher only a few days ago. I don't think Higher is going to stay there for much longer.
241 Higher
352 WAU
Jeez, What About Us really is nosediving... I can't see it climbing back up that far now if it continues to drop at the rate it is. Oh dear.
I dare say they're not going to succeed over there. I said from the start What About Us was the wrong song to debut with and wouldn't do much for them nor propel them to stardom Stateside. It's more worrying that they seem sure that the reality show was the only tool they needed to help them do it (and that's looking like its fallen flat on its face now too). Hopefully the second single could do something for them but by then Little Mix will - most likely - have taken over a la 1D.
If they don't succeed over there and their UK situation doesn't improve after this album then I reckon they'll call it quits, especially with Rochelle just becoming a mum now too, and Ben not really getting to see Aoife/Una. Perhaps after a 'Greatest' Hits tour/album for the fans or something but how much longer can they keep going if they can't sell? I'd love them to keep going, success or no success, for the music but the label won't see it like that. And since their contract with Polydor was for 5 albums I think - and all things considered, I'd say this is the fifth album... would that contract be renewed if nothings changed sales wise? Where else can they go? Even Una said it was 'make or break' in regards to America and their career in an interview somewhere recently. Think it might have been that Sunday Mirror magazine where they dressed as cheerleaders or the Daily Mail one where they were in those sparkly dresses the other week - can't remember which one.
Remember, What About Us charted in the Canadian top 100, so they actually done well over there and they havent had any airplay which is a very good achievement.

220. The Saturdays - What About Us (Uk Pre-Order) I'm worried that this has not once went in the top 100 on the album chart, but it's been around 210-230 on Album Chart for the past week now.
UK Will be fine. Nothing to worry about Radio 1 will support and Capital are LOVING WAU..They haven't supported The Sats in a while now and it's good to see it being played across all Capital channels regularly.
Don't forget we've got over a month before release yet, so being at #230 etc..isn't that bad for them at all!
I guess the USA hasn't worked out too brilliantly, but it's definitely had an impact here as it's given the media plenty to talk about as well as a whole host of magazine covers etc...
Don't forget WAU is being released in other countries too, so you never know could be a surprise hit somewhere else too??
I still need to preorder my CD!
I hope it can reach #1 and have a good sales run.

This isn't too badly with the hanging around between 100 and 200 (similar to Gabrielle Aplin). The only other big competition for the week (Icona Pop) is currently sitting around 1000 places lower. I'm hoping for a Radio 1 playlist today to push the pre-order closer to top 100!

Probably the best indication of how the song is doing in the US. Songs usually need to climb to about the mid #300's on the Pop chart before they enter the main iTunes section (which it's been gone from for a few weeks now ).

The Wendy Williams performance has done absolutely nothing for them on iTunes except boost them up 30 places on the Pop charts to #612.
^ I wasn't expecting the performance to do much. The timing of Rochelle's pregnancy wasn't the best but I do feel the other 4 girls could have stayed in the US/Canada to begin the massive radio tour & later on focus on TV performances. Again something like American Idol or The Voice is what the girls need for major exposure.
How much can an album sell at the bottom of the iTunes top100 in a week? 500 copies?

I want them to get this sooo badly!
I've turned into a mad man checking itunes every 5 mins!
I think its highest is #68, so hopefully it'll keep climbing past this before Sunday.
I'm hoping to see the E.P at #1 before Justin Takes over Monday.
I can't wait for it to be released and checking iTunes every 5 minutes. Actually, I think these are the most exciting times!
In the Rolling 7 days chart they've dropped to #10 on Tv (This is incredible how well it's doing, it should re-climb next week/week after)
They've also managed to climb to #20 on the rolling 7 day chart. It will be great if this got top 20 this week and somehow managed to go 10-15 next week! If this gets to number one What About Us will most likely be the Saturdays best Airplay hit also!
I really hope they have a Comic Relief performance in the bag! Just Over 3 days now.. Nervous.

It's really NOT that significant if they move up from #55 to #54 because that'll mean it's been pre-ordered about one extra time than it had in the last update. The album chart is really that insignificant.

Thought I'd have a look through older threads and see how a few of their singles were getting on in Ireland on iTunes at a similar time:

My Heart Takes Over

All Fired Up
Can't see anything for around 9am in the AFU thread.. the standard single mix was AWOL at this time on iTunes apparently, only the remix EP with the extended version was available on the morning of release it seems?

Thought it would at least be top 200 on Australian ITunes following the decent start by the EP! The EP has tumbled aswell!
Safe to say The Saturdays won't be number 1 in the UK. Will.I.Am just premiered his MASSIVE new single on Capital.
No Doubt he'll release it on air on sale this week (probably Sunday) so that's it blown for them! Worst luck ever!
Its 12pm and it's at #16 on Irish iTunes... don't like that I posted about it rising one spot... tell my chinese friend Sue Mi!
So its already doing better than 30 Days and obviously MHTO in Ireland.. fetch
Oz im not too worrid about till they get there
UK - hmm if will doenst release then yeah #1 if he does - #2
Good to see it doing better than 30 Days, #13 in Ireland so close to top 10! If it goes top 5 in Ireland that would be amazing! Would be a first for the girls, so if we lose hope in the UK #1, then let's hope for an Irish Top 5!
I think there may be a slight over exaduration on will.i.am. I doubt he will release on Sunday stop worrying people!
#755 on US Pop iTunes
#455 on Australia iTunes
#11 in Ireland
Fake #239 in UK
Ouch, at how much it's bombing on USA iTunes. I really don't see What About Us even managing to gain airplay. Nobody is even sure if it's been added to radio's and any hype for the song seems to have gone in the USA.
Urgh at it being so low on Australian iTunes. The Ep is bombing down aswell, don't think it will even go higher than 200 though.
Irish iTunes.
11. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us
157. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul [Buzz Junkies Remix] - What About Us
06. The Saturdays - What About Us (EP)
The Joys of being a Saturdays fan...
After falling back down to #63 in the iTunes pre-orders it seems after a small hint of publicity after this article: "http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a466008/the-saturdays-well-always-be-hoping-for-a-no1-single.html" The single now has a new peak of #55 Some good news no? AND #10 on Irish iTunes!!
The Sats now #10 on Irish iTunes
All this talk about the US, tbh its definitely put them back solidly in the UK market (WAYYY more airplay than previous tracks) and generally there's more of a 'buzz' around them with the new TV show etc...
I'm not to fussed if they don't crack the US, it was pretty obvious it wasn't going to happen as many have tried and failed and The Sats are hardly Massive in the UK.
I'm definitely happy that they continue to stay the number #1 show on E! and that it's looking likely WAU will debut top 3 and should hopefully stick around.
Just seen it's Irish Airplay, Currently #28 on Rolling Chart and it's dropped to #22 on the UK rolling chart.
10. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us
This time next month WAU will still be at number one and be a worldwide smash
to #8 in Ireland now!
Hopefully this could become their first top 5 hit in Ireland. If it did, it would be a good indication of UK success since they always does much better over here.
I don't think it stands a chance of going top 5 in Ireland, they wont gain enough momentum and seem to fall behind faster in Ireland. The fact that One Direction and others are performing on Comic Relief will knock it down. Had they performed on Comic Relief, It could have EASILY been their first top 5 hit in Ireland!
It's going to be a really close battle between Justin Timberlake & The Sats next week. Justin will have 4 versions of Mirror charting (Deluxe, Standard, RadioEdit & Brits). The music video is out next week, I predict another #02 now.
Yeah I'm beginning to think they might end up only at #2 or #3 next week (Pink and Bruno are doing insanely well right now, too).
To be honest, it doesn't matter what number they chart it. It's how long they stay in the charts for. A #3 charting and six weeks in the top ten ( probably never happen) is much better than a #1 and six weeks in the top 40.
#52 on pre-orders, #7 in Ireland.
#7 on Ireland #6 for the EP is actually very good! I think it's doing slightly better than 30 Days. Considering it charted at #13, I think we can expect a #9-#11 for What About Us.
This is nowhere to be found on the New Zealand and Belgium charts, did it definitely get released there on the 15th or is that just Wikipedia bullshit?
If it was released in Australia, it would have been in New Zealand!
Edit: It's also on Belgium iTunes.
Australian iTunes.
415. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us
#06 on Irish iTunes now.
03. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop 56.2%
04. Justin Timberlake 56.25
05. Kodaline - High Hopes - 49.4
06. Walking On Cars - Catch Me If You Can 49.2 (LivePopBars Needs to update)
The highest they could get on iTunes is #03, which would still be quite difficult!
05. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us.
Seems to be climbing fast now, urgh, just if they managed to get a comic relief slot!
03. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop 59.3%
04. Kodaline - High Hopes 55.8%
05. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us 54.4%
Edit: Back to #06 as One Direction have overtaken them all!
I thought it was pretty obvious they wouldn't tho. I really think it's going to miss the #1 now. It had more chance back then, but now it seems everything is falling slowly (by that I mean, the competition is now more obvious).
It depends if 1D start falling after Comic Relief but I doubt they will (hope so though!) and I think it'll be hard for the girls to overcome the 1D-Justin-Bruno top 3. In the UK I'm thinking they'll enter at #3 or #4, which is still good.
This week is gonna be too much. The ups and downs of being a Saturdays fan!
If they can break the top5 in Ireland (Ireland!) they can totally do the same in the UK.
I'm not afraid of One Direction. Their song has been out for weeks and they've been #1 already. It will start falling soon, although it will probably stay in the top10.
It's #5 for me, why do people say it's #6?
It's doing good in Ireland to be honest.
It was #5, but dropped to #6 again for a little while as One Direction climbed straight to #2. It is back at #5 again now though as they have overtaken Macklemore, so everyone was right!
Don't their songs usually peak (a lot) lower in Ireland than they do here in the UK? Surely this is a promising sign?
Yeah, they've not had a top 5 song in Ireland, it's quite frustrating that it Would Have been #04 had One Direction not performed for Comic Relief. Imagine had they performed on Comic Relief, they would have easily been top 3. Anyway time to stop worrying about what could have been and look forward to Sunday.
I've been changing my mind daily on where this is going to peak, I didin't think One Direction would recieve such a massive boost. I think my mind will be decided tomorrow once I see how far One Direction are ahead of #01. Obviously It's going to be a battle to even peak top 5 this week as everything seems close, but depending on One Direction, I believe this could peak at numnber 1 as I'm sure it could pass 60,000 sales. The only thing that's worrying me is that their not promoting on Wed,Thu and Friday. Their promotion on Tuesday is in the morning so there would have been nothing stopping them doing something at night!

The EP is at #103 on Australian iTunes.
Update...
#48 on UK iTunes [Pre-order]
Still #5 on Ireland iTunes!
Good to see a new pre-order peak, it should get at least top 40 before it's release at midnight which is incredible! In Ireland, atm they're closer to #6 than #4. But, hopefully when 1D start dropping they'll still be increasing, and the small gap between #3 and #4 means it could eventually get as high as #2 if they're lucky! But that's unlikely!
The Sats up to #4 in Ireland (Level with #3)
E.P up to #44 in UK.
UK EP - #41
UK Fake Version - #219
Ireland - #4 (0.24 behind #3)
Where are their EP's usually at before release? I can never remember any of them being this high before the actual release.
They have done a lot of radio1 visits tbf to them! I'm sure they've already made around 4 visits!
I wonder if they will be able to get to #03 on irish iTunes as the momentum will start to slow down soon. The bad thing is when it starts to decrease it will drop fast as everything within 2-6 is really close.
its so weird cause AFU started off so well being #1 on itunes and getting a 3-5 chart run and then all of a sudden it dropped - i dont understand why!
I really hope this doesn't do a Boomerang! Straight to the top, but once at the top droops down. For those of you with Twitter can you try help me trend #GetTheSatsToNo1!
In Ireland, #2 and #3 are on the same level, so if What About Us gets to #3, it should be able to get to #2. But unfortunately it will never stand a chance of #1 with that lead!
UK EP - #38
Ireland - #4
#37 UK - EP
fantastic news - definatly will be #1 tomorrow on albums - hopefully people will still download the single track too
WOW! Almost as high as Duke Dumont! Two future #1s?
3 in Ireland and 317 in holland!
WURLD DOMINATIONZ!!!!
Is there any way to check their positions worldwide without having to constantly change the country on LivePopBars (and refreshing tons of times and then searching for them)?
#36 on pre-orders...
http://kworb.net/itunes/thesaturdays.html ^ This might helpful!
^ Thanks but how come it's not taking into account Australia or the US? Or the other songs they've got charted in the UK?
Love how Faster and Notorious are #52 and #54 in Brunei! Hahaha! World domination!
Oh and I've just seen What About Us is 84 in El Salvador and #93 in Kenya! Thank you to those 2 people for buying it! Hahaha!
Oh, the exact same % as One Direction and 18% behind number one! They've never went top 2 in Ireland iTunes! Great to see them doing well!
I hope they settle at #2 on the Irish iTunes, although like WALL-E said when they fall they do freefall on that chart. Good stuff nevertheless.
Apparently they're back at #4 on Irish iTunes?
Yeah but there all on the exact same %! I actually can't wait until tomorrow!
It's Top 200 in Aussieland!!
Yeah, numbers four, three and two have the exact same percentage in Ireland, so it's normal that they go a bit back and forth for a while. The good thing for them is that they are still climbing, so it's very possible they keep the #2 for a while once they have settled there.
I don't want to be too excited about tomorrow in the UK (well, a few hours), but it's very hard after seeing this.
Edit: They keep climbing on pre-orders...#34 now!
I'm going out but I'll probably be constantly checking iTunes and this thread on my phone all night.
God.
#34 on pre order albums! Imagine if it was quite a busy album week! And the chart isnt even closed yet. Like see if anything in the top 50 was selling at like 20,000 (probs really unrealistic but oh well) imagine how good a starting point it would be!
OK for tomorrow...

Oh, Borneo. I studied that shit not so long ago. Did you know that island belongs to three country actually? Now you know! haha.
OMG. it's so amazing. Freaking #3 !!!
It's back at #3!
Imagine if it goes to #2!
It's been back at #4 for a while now...we'll see! The mere fact they are inside the top 5 in Ireland is incredible, thoguh. And a great surprise after the disappointing pre-orders.
what day will they chart in Ireland?
The EP pre-order is now up to #33 in the UK by the way, they have taken over Duke Dumont's EP pre-order!
I was watching it on iTunes itself! But it doesn't matter, as now it shows them at #3 again. LOL

It's only 0.03 behind the #2, it's really a short gap although I presume it's going to fall quickly soon.
It's already kinda dropping as they were on the same % with Kodaline 2 hours ago. Bastille is also 2% behind them and One Direction now.
1028. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us
01. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us EP.
Hmm, hopefully they're not losing too many sales during this hour.
Here we go then...! Another Saturdays release week...
OH MAH GOD. I AM CRY. THIS IS HURT MEH. I CANT EVEN SPEAK ENGRISH ANYMORE.
We don't have the data of Missing You, but I'm pretty sure that none of their singles have broke into the top100 before sunrise...All Fired Up doesn't count, as iTunes messed up by summing up the preorders to the song's sales.
I *think* I remember Missing You was at something like #59 on the early morning (sunrise) of release. They were on Big Brother's Little Brother in the late morning/early afternoon and Una said they were #29... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tilf-lJO67M @ 8:02
EDIT:
#59 now (1.15am)
#59
Just got up for work and its #48 and its only 2:50 in the UK!
My goodness! It's leaping up, just before I posted last it was #53, then #48 when I posted and 5 minutes later it's #45! Hope it goes top 40 before I leave
I hope too! This is all so exciting.
Well im about to leave and it's very close #43 Jumped 10 in an hour thats great!
It's #42. It's a bit slow now, but considering how fast they have climbed, it's no surprise. It should pickup in the morning when people aren't asleep.
At 10am release day, 30 Days was at #18.
WAU currently at #41 at 6.40am. Hopefully it'll start moving up quicker now the day is starting and the UK aren't all asleep.
EDIT:
Now #29 at 8am
still #29, Ep still #1!
I know we can't take anything from it and it was released almost a year ago but their iTunes climb (so far) is really similar to Rita Ora's with R.I.P! Had a look through the old iTunes threads on here in the Chart forum.
Rita's went: #230 - #121 - #96 - #68 - #58 - #46 - #36 (at 8am) - #15 - #12 - #7 - #5 (at 10am) - #4 - #3 - #2 & she hit #1 at 12.30pm
Saturdays so far today: #236 - #96 - #67 - #59 - #56 - #54 - #51 - #45 - #43 - #41 - #29 (at 8am)
iTunes is going to freeze now isn't it...in true Sats release week style!
Itunes doesn't freeze, it updates slowly on sundays. And it's not just the sats who this had happened to. Rita Ora and Pixie Lot have done this too.
Hopefully it would've climbed a bit with the next update.
It slows down enough to justify it freezes.
Fingers crossed
Its been at #29 for the past hour or so... Yep I think it has froze :'( what will happen next?
hope it updates by 10am so we can see an updated position
#10 on Itunes!!!!
#236 - #96 - #67 - #59 - #56 - #54 - #51 - #45 - #43 - #41 - #29 (at 8am) - 10
So far......
This is Amazing!
Well i don't wanna tempt fate or anything but...

This is amazing! Hope it continues to fair well!
I hope it gets to #1 in time for the Big Top 40 tonight!

Could they shock and give us a #1 by midday?
They really should put the Sats only version up for download as well ASAP. It'll help them! Especially with Justin's multiple versions of Mirrors come his album release?
yeah they so should... and an acoustic one like with 'Missing You'
I just realised they only have had two #2s anyway - MY and AFU both ended up at #3 in the end so I will be pleased if it gets to #2
can you remember when 30 Days was mid week #2 as well - f*** that shocked me. i was like no way but obvs it didn't last
#4 now
I can't believe they've got yet another lifeline! They really need to cash in on this momentum with a strong third (?) single and well organised album campaign.
everybody hates me :'(
BUT YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! @ being #4 - Roch hasn't tweeted anything yet - I hope she cares!!
I purchased the Sean Paul version to support them but I'm not going to listen to it. They better release a solo version.
Absolutely bonkers decision not to release a solo version when it's the solo one that's getting the most TV rotation.
^ the extended version is solo
although it feels like roch's extra verse is in LQ compared to the rest of the song :s
#3 now!
to #3!
Is this really happening?
I just want them to hurry up and go to #1 already. We know it's going to happen.
#236 - #96 - #67 - #59 - #56 - #54 - #51 - #45 - #43 - #41 - #29 (at 8am) - 10 - 9 - 8 (at 10am) - 5 - 3
I am really hoping this goes AND stays at #1 for the WHOLE WEEK and doesnt start dropping after the mid-week sales :'(
It's got an hour to get to number 1, will be agonizing when it gets to 2, I'll be checking every 5 seconds!!
This is so exciting. Never climbed this quickly before! Usually they're low top 20/top 30 this time of day right?!
I'm just enjoying the climb while it lasts in case the - most likely - inevitable happens. There's clearly still interest in them so that's a positive whatever goes down.
eventually we will have to approach the whole #1 >>>>>>>>>>.. #7 drop
i just pray they can hold #1 as long as possible - once they are there. if they can hold till wends/thurs they may still be able to win the week
Apparently it's #2?? Someone on Popjustice posted saying so. Not sure if they're right though...
still #3 and #1 for me..
Still says #3 on mine, any updates on where the remixes are in the iTunes Chart?
Yeah just checked - still #3 on mine too. Hmm.
This week is gonna be a long one.
It's now less than 0.1000 behind Mirrors on Kworb!
Now 1 hour ago 2 hours ago
One Direction - One Way or Another 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000
Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 0.8125 0.7812 0.7812
The Saturdays - What About Us (feat. Sean Paul) 0.7188 0.4062 0.1185
Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man 0.6562 0.6250 0.6250
P!nk - Just Give Me a Reason 0.6250 0.5938 0.5938
Guys, I know this is a really exciting time because they're doing so well but please try to keep a lot of the excitement in this thread.
I've seen some of the stuff said in the iTunes thread in the chart forum and it is quite.. shameful
It's only going to antagonise those who already dislike them even more, there's really no point.
No matter what The Saturdays do, there will always be some idiot on this forum that will want to belittle them and put them down. It's a losing battle really
That said.. I'm SO excited they're doing this well and I'm glad we have this forum to celebrate in!!
Come on The Sats!!!
It climbed 30% in an hour.
I'd love for them to get 2 weeks at #1 now as a middle finger up to the haters!
#2 guys! They're climbing insanely fast!!
#236 - #96 - #67 - #59 - #56 - #54 - #51 - #45 - #43 - #41 - #29 (at 8am) - 10 - 9 - 8 (at 10am) - 5 - 3 - 2
Almost there....
Ugh a few of the posters in the Chart forum are childish. Fair enough you don't like them but all the sly digs and to label and belittle us fans as loons and so on just because we happen to be interested in their success (like I'm sure they are with their faves) is just pathetic. Sure, one or two fan comments have been on the OTT side but still.
Their hypocrisy is also kinda funny. Sure, I don't think they're wrong in saying they may not hold onto it if they get there but I was reading through the Rita Ora iTunes thread for R.I.P. - the girls' iTunes climb is pretty much the same as Rita's - last year, and some that are putting them down and ignoring how well it's all going at the mo were saying how amazing and astonishing her climb was, how fast it climbed up, how it was a cert etc (sure, I don't doubt that it's much less certain what with The Sats history and the fact it was Rita's debut) but even so, minor double standards or what.
#2. Yay.
Just got back from the gym (the EP obviously keeping me alive then) and saw its #2. I think I shat myself.
#1!!!!!
Woohoooo Amazing! Hopefully it stays there for the Big Top 40 on Capital later at least.
So #1 at 12.15pm! Now to keep it glued there. Haha.
Their iTunes chart run today:
236-96-67-59-56-54-51-45-43-41-29-10-9-8-5-4-3-2-1 @ 12.15pm
We've still got a long week ahead of us, remember. I'm trying not to get my hopes up as we all know that by the time Wednesday arrives they'll probably be #3 or something.
QUEENS.
#1 BABY YEH! NOW STAY THERE! Hopefully the sales for this can only rise and the others fall!
I've never had asthma before.........
They've got a decent lead too!
