Yeah. I'm going to stick with BARB. (That's what we did for Series 1 so it's only fair) I also think it gives a fairer representation as it includes people who Sky+'d it.

In that case 202 becomes 7th on the all time list and 201 is 8th. Kicking out Hell-O and nearly removing the unfunny friends

BARB does tend to be higher than the initial reported overnights so do we take the official figure as the BARB one? I'm not entirely sure what the difference is with the BARB ratings and the overnights but they tend to differ quite a lot. (On BARB every Inbetweeners season 3 episode was at 3-3.5 million when I don't think the overnights had it that high throughout the series BARB: ep 1 - 3.456, ep 2- 3.336, ep 3 - 3.572 ep 4- 3.619 ep 5 -3.721 ep 6 - 3.704 and these pretty much tally up with the All Time e4 Top 10 ratings) Here is the initial report from Digital Spy for the overnight ratings for Glee. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s57/glee/ne...e-with-16m.html It has Glee as 1.6 million for episode 1, BARB is 2.486 million It also mentions Silent Witness having 7.24 million, BARB has it as 7.8 million which is much closer so why the huge discrepancy in the Glee ratings and also this: Overnights has Monday's Shameless that week as 3.08 million and BARB has it as high as 4.050 million Just had a browse at some other stuff and bizarrely the X Factor Final on BARB is reported as a lot LESS than the reported overnight of 19.3 million, BARB is 16.553 So if we take these ratings from BARB, it means Britney/Brittany is actually recorded as 2.634 million, rocketing up to number 7 on the All Time Top 10 behind The Inbetweeners. Audition is recorded as 2.486 million and is also right up there Will be interesting what figures BARB have for last week and this week when they come out as episode 3 on the overnight DS report was 1.4 million and losing 250k of its audience and episode 4 as 1.32 Barb is the UK's official audience measurement like Nielsen in the USA. So their figures are correct. Shows generally go up considerably when the officials are out. So it will be common to see episodes rate below 2 million in the overnights but go up over 2 million in the final as officials include viewers who recorded with Sky + and watched it within that week. And your quote about X Factor does seem lower because in the reports in the press they added the HD figures which have a separate section on the site. |

All ratings updated for the UK! Very, very respectable and they are taken from BARB so maybe higher than overnight suggestions.

'Audition' and 'Britney/Britney' should both be in/higher in the E4 all-time top ten! And with the BARB figures, 'B/B' is the highest non-Inbetweeners episode ever on E4 (and highest of 2011)!

Well, DigitalSpy have said 600k+ for it, but I'm waiting to take the ratings from BARB (as that's what all the other viewing figures are taken from so it'll be more accurate with our ratings.) they usually have a week or two delay.

Updated! Getting over 1 million viewers when all is said and done for us! (source is BARB - as per.) US ratings are on the decline though, pretty rapidly :/ I have a feeling, thanks to them previewing the mash-up, this episode will push it back up!

UK viewing figures were below 1m for the first time, coincidentally, for 'The First Time', which got 954k, followed by 'Mash Off' with 875k

But it's not even the most-watched programme, weekly, there! An Idiot Abroad 2 beat it by over a million every week that it was on, and A League of Their Own (whatever it is) also beats it weekly.

Mixture of good and bad in the US. The bad is the the season opened with a 4.0 (down from last year) and continued to drop, going 3.7 & 3.6 before the break made stuff worse, returning to a 3.0, 3.1, 3.0. The slightly better news is that this week it's up to a 3.2 (pending adjustment later). Not the same hit it seemed to be at the end of Season 1/start of Season 2, but as long as ratings don't get really ugly I imagine FOX will keep it around as it must be quite the money maker with all the downloads/CDs/merch/tickets etc.
(Total viewers were also the best they've been since 'Asian F' but that doesn't matter). |

Bones used to get 800k-1m weekly and was said to be very highly rated. Then Sky1 fucked it up

Full ratings for the US now the season is over if a mod would like to edit them in;
01. The Purple Piano Project 9.21 02. I Am Unicorn 8.60 03. Asian F 8.42 04. Pot o' Gold 7.47 05. The First Time 6.91 06. Mash Off 7.08 07. I Kissed a Girl 7.90 08. Hold On to Sixteen 7.11 09. Extraordinary Merry Christmas 7.13 10. Yes/No 7.50 11. Michael 9.07 12. The Spanish Teacher 7.81 13. Heart 6.99 14. On My Way 7.46 15. Big Brother 6.76 16. Saturday Night Glee-ver 6.23 17. Dance with Somebody 6.90 18. Choke 6.01 19. Prom-asaurus 6.67 20. Props 6.09 21. Nationals 6.03 22. Goodbye 7.64 Shame that 'Choke' was the low as I thought it was one of the best episodes (along with Props & Nationals which were also just above the 6 million mark). Quite a good boost from American Idol last night, I hope it can achieve at least 7 million every week going after The X Factor next season. |

The X Factor USA doesn't even get 7m viewers, does it?! I doubt the entire audience would stay to watch Glee! It is a shame that the figures have dropped - more majorly, recently; episodes 17-22 were some of Glee's best ever!

'The X Factor' averaged 12m viewers last year and you've got to remember that people are expecting the show to be boosted next season (at least to begin with) because of all the interest surrounding Britney. 'American Idol' hasn't been doing loads better recently (I think it's dropped ~30% from last year).

The ratings are now down to around 2m an episode - It was a silly decision to have it compete with Pretty Little Liars.
