Biology
Long Hot Summer
Whole Lotta History
See The Day

Pretty easy to rank, a clear winner and a clear loser, with very little between the middle two.

1 Whole Lotta History
2 Biology
3 Long Hot Summer
4 See the Day

WLH is by far and away their best ballad for me wub.gif Biology is a pop classic too. Long Hot Summer is better than I often give it credit for, but sadly it's still one of their least amazing singles. See the Day is their second weakest single overall, only ahead of BCYLM, but it's a nice cover.

10 Biology
06 Long Hot Summer
06 Whole Lotta History
06 See The Day

Their worst run of singles from any album tbh. Probably not helped by Biology being so incredible that all the others come off even more bland than they would otherwise.

1) Long Hot Summer
2) Whole Lotta History
3) Biology
4) See The Day

'Long Hot Summer' is probably the one I return to the most at the moment but it's placing isn't 'of the moment'; I definitely feel it's climbed in my estimations and stayed there. I don't really understand why people tend to not like it that much when it's just such feel-good, summery pop. 'Whole Lotta History' is a very emotional ballad, without a doubt among their best and it should have been released as single #3 over 'See the Day'. I do like their cover of it and I feel they do add something different to it but, with such a high standard discography, it does have the tendency to become forgettable at times and it does linger at the bottom of my singles rank. 'Biology' has a very interesting structure for a pop record yet it all pieces together wonderfully. Not quite one of their very best, which I do see it referred to as such a lot so it does verge on being overrated, but it's an absolutely undeniable, catchy song.

But I really don't like the bottom two at all, two of my least favs from their discography. The album had loads of single choices, the chouces campaign for this album was a mess to be honest.

I LOOVED Long Hot Summer when it came out, such a summer bop and for me is an archetypal song for the summer!! They are hardly around anymore, so it was some nice throwback pop and lived for that rap.

See The Day is also one of my favourites too - so Christmassy!

Biology is good but overrated tbh - I don't find much enjoyment in it.

Whole Lotta History is ATROCIOUS - lyrics, video, vocals (esp. Cheryl's) - just awful. Their worst single ever for me.

I'd agree with this. I've never thought 'Chemistry' had a strong run of singles, other than 'Biology' being a bonafide classic.

It's so hard to rank these. 'Long Hot Summer' is so breezy and fun. Used to be my GA favorite for a long time, but not sure if it still is. These days I have grown an incredibly soft spot for 'See the Day'. 'Biology' is really good but unlike with most people it's never been among my GA favorites. It's still really close to LHS and STD though. 'Whole Lotta History' used to be one of my favorites too but it has fallen down quite a bit.

Long Hot Summer
See the Day
Biology
Whole Lotta History

Again, I think this is a stronger singles run than the run from their second album. Maybe I'd even rank all of these above all the singles from 'What Will the Neighbours Say?'.

This one's really easy =

1. Biology
2. Long Hot Summer
3. Whole Lotta History
4. See The Day

This album was packed with so many potential hits, it's astonishing that it got cocked up so badly. The lead single 'LHS' was not amazing or even one of their greater moments, but it was still okay and really fun, and at the time I just loved it. Then there's the ever amazing 'Biology' which really saved this era from being a complete disaster and was a cracking song also.

'STD' was where things went wrong, sure it's an okay enough cover, but it should have stayed on the album and 'WLH' should have been the X-Mas single for that year, instead of being lumped into early 2006, and while it did manage to become another respectable top 10 hit for them, it didn't exactly have a long shelf life and kinda became forgotten pretty quickly. But if it was the X-Mas single, I reckon it would have done a whole lot better, sales wise at least.

I still think songs like 'Models' & 'Watch Me Go' were major wasted opportunities, either one of them could have been the final single and closed the era with a bang, instead of 2 ballads in a row. Maybe they could have been a double a-side release or something.

This is how the era should have gone =

1. Long Hot Summer
2. Biology
3. Whole Lotta History
4. Models/Watch Me Go

01. Biology
02. See The Day
03. Whole Lotta History
04. Long Hot Summer

'Biology' is 11/10 amazing and easily one of their best. Very idiosyncratic structure that they pulled off with ease *.* 'See The Day' is lovely, very underrated in their discography.

GA's ballads aren't really their best for me, although WLH is quite cute. 'See The Day' is okay.

I was really annoyed they didn't release 'Models' in the end. I agree they probably should have had WLH as the Christmas ballad and 'Models' in March.

OMG same as me, except I've always liked See The Day and how it really gave a Christmassy feel, and always hated Whole Lotta Crap.
