This song is kinda iconic among B fans? Am I right?
Check out this superb fan made video.
Such a cool video. Oh what could have been
Ahh this is really good - love the chipmunk vocals too haha
I love that she went against the label and took the demo to the radio station. Even though it resulted in them scrapping the album.
I wish she still had that f*** it attitude.
who produced 'mona lisa'?
I'd heard about that radio conversation but not actually heard the radio clip before. Interesting to think of what could have been.
Back when she was really involved with her musak.
The record label should've just brought up the release of Mona Lisa to then and then had a bit of a big ga between frist and second singles, almsot like a buzz, but huge, single.
Then they made her scrap it and release Microsoft Britney :/ .
This could've been an AMAZIIING album. She would have been truthful on it, it'd have matched the Breakdown (not that Microsoft Britney didn't - but for wrong reasons...) lyrically and musically and she would probably have STOPPED for a while. But now the record company has her like a manufactured robot.
Minus all the shade you have thrown towards post-Inthezoney, I agree. But, let's get something straight. Besides 'Blackout' 'Microsoft Britney' was just as real on 'In The Zone' as 'Circus', 'Femme Fatale' or 'Britney Jean'. You are always throwing shade on her edited vocals, they edit everyone's voice on albums. So that's fine if you dislike the 'Microsoft Britney', but that IS Britney after her third album.
ALSO! Why are you always in here throwing second hand shade? You want to argue Britney's relevance/irrelevance and how you haven't liked one of her albums in over almost TWELVE years. Yet you talking about Britney in a negative way all over this board. Stop following her, you are just so micro focused on a certain era, you wouldn't appreciate the second coming of 'In The Zone', because you'd be too preoccupied with shitting all over it with discounted bullet points.
I'm gonna go out and say something that's not agreed with by most britney fans; Femme fatale is actually my favourite Britney album, much prefer it to in the zone and the albums before that. I think her albums just kept getting better until Briteny Jean.
Blackout / In The Zone / Femme Fatale
The holy trinity.
