Christian Coleman won the men's 60m at the Clemson Invitational with a 6.37 WR, almost 20 years after Maurice Greene did his 6.39 in Madrid.

For what it's worth, that record lasted longer than MJ's outdoor 400.

Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele will race Britain's Mo Farah in the London Marathon in April as well as two-time winner Kipchoge. That should be some marathon to watch.

Confirmed that The Olympic Stadium will play host to a new event on 14-15 July.

Previously advertised as The Meet (a GB&NI vs USA match comp), the Athletics World Cup* is an 8-nation 2-day competition with an overall prize pot of $2 million (approx. £1.4 million).

The other six countries involved are Poland, China, Germany, France, Jamaica and South Africa.

[* No relation to the IAAF Continental Cup.

British Olympic sprinter Nigel Levine has been provisionally suspended for failing a drugs test.

It was reported in December the 28-year-old had allegedly tested positive for the banned asthma drug clenbuterol.

Richard Kilty has ruled himself out of the World Indoor Championships after a recurrence of an Achilles problem. On another note, Eilish McColgan and Eilidh Doyle won the 1500m and 400m respectively in the British Indoor Championships.

Congratulations to Katarina Johnson-Thompson claimed her first global title with victory in the pentathlon at the World Indoor Athletics Championships. A good performance from her, hopefully she can go and build on this.

Laura Muir has started working with a coach from the controversial Nike Oregon Project.

The project is led by Mo Farah's former coach Alberto Salazar, who is being probed by the US Anti-Doping Agency.

Keitany is a couple of seconds ahead of Dibaba after ten miles. Currently 32 seconds ahead of WR pace, but Radcliffe did produce a negative split during her 2:15:25.

Greg Rutherford who won gold in London 2012 will be retiring at the end of the season. He'll be completing at the European Championships in Berlin in August before ending his career.
