I wonder can Bambie Thug now return us to the top 10 for first time since 2011, part of me thinks it has winner written all over it but another part of thinks it could lose a lot of votes as its a very diverse song and also get little jury support.

No matter the result Saturday night which I think at worst Ireland will do fairly ok I think it will be interesting to see how we approach Eurovision next year as qualifying this year should increase interest next year.
Creatively it was amazing tonight and I think they should learn from that and build on it and not go backwards.

I’m not sure it’s the ‘conservatives’ - The Eurovision fandom is really a cesspit, I see comment after comment from ESC ‘fans’ attacking artists and countries - it’s possibly way up there as one of the most toxic online fandoms.

Pretty sure it's the conservatives. Even Oli L*ndon is hating them kink.gif The Eurovision fandom is pretty big so you're probably seeing one part of it as there is a good portion of the fandom being very positive about Ireland's qualification happy.gif
