Now is the moment we've (i.e. niche forumers) all been waiting for - the final results of BJSC LXVIII, live from Carellis Arena, Persephonia.



(picture may or may not be relevant)

The results will be starting at 19:00 BST and should go on for three hours - with 59 votes to get through (the most ever received in a final!!!), that nicely fits into a schedule of one vote every 3 minutes with time for a couple of rabbit interludes. I'm counting on y'all to not leave me announcing to myself - it's shaping up to be a very tense and close and action-filled reveal so you'll want to be around!

Feel free to SPECULATE over the next 2 hours as we await the votes pouring in ~ Will we get a fresh nation in the winning corner or will it be a familiar face? Will the winner be a dark horse (feat. Juicy J) that no one saw coming or a totally predictable win for Karen Harding or Michael Woods or Grum or [insert other contenders]? Put it like that I'm still not convinced there IS a 'totally predictable winner'. And of course the most important question of them all... who will finish 24th??? All will be revealed...

Votes are presented in order of receipt, from early birds Elëdan to literal last minute hoes Skall. Each post will include an updated and tie-broken scoreboard and a little commentary on the developments resulting from each vote (which were all written at the time, so I knew no more than you will about the later votes when I wrote them, don't go analysing them for sneaky hints).

The song you've collectively voted to win is the successor to THIS masterpiece so I hope you've made a good choice (not that I need to hope as I know who won already and have already formed an opinion on whether it is or isn't worthy but yeah):
