Paloma Faith is releasing her fourth album on November 17th.
All three of her previous albums have all been very big sellers but she has never had a UK #1 album to her name yet.
How do people think this new album will do? 'Crybaby' performed well on sales but streaming meant it only spent one week low top 40; however I do think her album will perform well.
opening sales wise I think this may be her biggest yet selling around 45k in week one. Paloma has never had huge sales in week one as she tends to sell small and steady over a long time which is how she's done so well with her first three albums.
I do however think with competition and high sales in general she will debut at around #5-#7 but she should sell well in the long run as she always has in the past.

I went for less than 15k

I can imagine a #8 debut with 14k

If Stereophonics can clear 40k so can Paloma. She should've released a week or two later though to maximise Xmas shopping/Black Friday sales.

X Factor confirmed for next week!! Great promo slot could push whatever she performs into the top 40 hopefully she's performing Guilty.
Should also help preorders too although I do wish she waited a week but maybe she has Strictly booked for when the album is actually out.

Doubt it will push the single top 40. Stormzy only reached 40

I'm going for 50-55k. "Crybaby" did very well in airplay and she has an X-factor performance to help launch the album.

I’d predict 25-30k. Don’t think this album will perform as strongly as the others sadly.

40k+ at the very least based off what the previous albums managed

(probably with a #2 peak lol)

it'll probably be hugely overshadowed by Eminem in terms of hype so ill say around 18-23k

15-29k, but I’m hopeful it can go well beyond that!

Is it confirmed Eminem is releasing that week or just speculation?

Well Guilty is up to #63 on iTunes following X Factor unsure.gif
Given that she's more of an album artist anyway hoping that isn't an indication of how the album will go.

24K sold so far and #1 in Midweeks!!!

Really hoping it can hold the #1 would be fantastic for her to finally get a #1 album and long overdue!! I am genuinely a bit shocked at the midweek position though.

Late but so happy she got her first #1 so well deserved!
I underestimated her position somewhat!
Highest opening week for her as well with 39K.
