Given that this is the limit that'll count towards the chart iro streaming, I just wondered if it actually happened much?

Obviously it'll very depending on the specific track/artist, but I'm thinking in general terms...

If I really like a track, I can easily listen to it over and over again in one day, however I don't stream music so I don't have any effect on the streaming data.

Very interesting thread!

I've not listened to as much music as I used to when I walked to school but now I have college I just don't feel like listening to music in the car sad.gif it's mostly just my chart I make 2 times a week that I listen to music but I stream albums occasionally. I'm starting to make a habit of listening on iTunes while doing work recently so I could consider myself an actual music listener again kink.gif

I'd never listen to a song this often, especially if it's one I really like, as it'd rapidly become 'stale'.

No - four or 5 times tops for a song that I am excited about.

Never. Very rarely do I play a song more than twice per day really.

Never. Simply don't have the time to listen to a song 10'times in one week. And I couldn't care less about manipulating the charts.

No, I rarely play a song more than once a day. Partly because I don't want to 'wear it out' and partly because there's SO much new and old music I always want to listen to that I don't want to devote my time to just one song.

In my case, I like very little of today's new music, but fortunately there's decades of old music to choose from. smile.gif

if i'm in a certain emotional state and i have a ~connection~ to a song, you can be sure it'll be on repeat for at least three hours : )

There's definitely been songs that have been freshly released and I've instantly loved and played numerous times, but 10 is a bigger number than it seems in terms of listening to a 3-5 minute song, so no, I don't think I've listened to a song 10 times a day.

I listen to songs more than 10 times a day every day... I'll always have a playlist of songs I'm obsessed with and have that on repeat when working. If I'm really liking something I can easily have it on repeat for a good hour without being bored of it haha.

Edit: I don't ever stream, so it wouldn't be affecting the charts anyway.

Like Cremey, I have a playlist of new songs that I listen to while working, so it can happen, albeit rarely.

there have been songs I have listened more than 20 times per day..I actually tend to listen a bunch of 20-25 songs per day multiple times depending on how much I like the song (from 3 to 15 plays per song)

Maybe not 'Never' but probably not as much as 'Occasionally'.

I would say maybe like once or twice a year if that. Went for Never in the poll though.

With regards to Spotify, I did it once to help Cheryl's Crazy Stupid Love laugh.gif away from that, I often hear songs more than 10 times a day, often when they first premiere. I heard 1D's Drag Me Down 100 times on its first day of release laugh.gif

Not very often tbh, maybe if the song is brand new or a BJSC entry of mine that I like a lot. The last time I did it was my last BJSC entry and maybe Adele. Otherwise, around 4-6.

On days like today I can easily go through an entire playlist of 10 songs multiple times. So yes.

No way, I listen to songs naturally. The only chart I try to manipulate is my own year-end chart as ai am trying to give a few songs better positions lol

I think my most-streamed song of the week has 24 plays and that is 3OH!3 - My Dick. I don't think I could listen to a song 10 times a day
