It's okay I'm a lil disappointed sad.gif hopefully there'll be better tracks on the EP tomorrow

Posted by: Bangtan Cody Apr 4 2019, 04:41 PM

this is probably their best line distribution since boombayah rotf.gif

I am actually EXTREMELY EXCITED for this mini album! Square Up had a few fair bops (Forever Young especially), and it really looks like YG wants to step up their game after the shitshow that happened last month.

Posted by: LewisGT Apr 4 2019, 04:55 PM

Loving this so far.

Very excited for the EP tomorrow!

Posted by: rafik4u Apr 4 2019, 09:59 PM

One of their weakest singles, excellent still nevertheless.

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 4 2019, 10:27 PM

BANGER. They're yet to put a foot wrong for me with singles! 😍

Posted by: LMLou Apr 4 2019, 10:37 PM

I really like it! Agreed they’re very consistent with their music, always at least decent

Posted by: Cqmerqn Apr 4 2019, 11:21 PM

What a SONG. I reckon it’ll be a hit too.

Posted by: Bangtan Cody Apr 5 2019, 01:08 AM

this is literally the best month for Kpop this year and it's only been four days

and BTS hasn't come out yet. I don't know how long I can survive this onslaught

Also: the MV is currently at 20M views and it's been 10 hours since it was released. To put this in retrospect:

Kpop videos with most views in 24 hours:
1. BTS - Idol: 45.9M
2. BLACKPINK - DDU-DU-DDU-DU: 36.2M
3. PSY - Gentleman: 36.0M
4. BTS - Fake Love: 35.9M
5. TWICE - Yes Or Yes: 31.4M

Could this take the crown? Blinks seem eager to beat Ariana's record.

Posted by: JüperBass Apr 5 2019, 11:22 AM

Lisa is EVERYTHING

Posted by: Golowhore Apr 5 2019, 12:46 PM

Surprised by the positivity here considering the negativity I've seen elsewhere. I can't believe people are still doing no choruses in 2019.

Posted by: *Callum Apr 5 2019, 01:19 PM

So this is already on 48 million views, and they still have 2 hours until they hit the 24-hour mark. They won’t beat Ariana but they’ve done phenomenally well.

Posted by: Bangtan Cody Apr 5 2019, 03:54 PM

BTS & BLACKPINK are really gonna keep one-upping each other with their comebacks huh

Posted by: 365 Apr 5 2019, 03:55 PM

The video is INCREDIBLE.

Posted by: Conanderella Apr 5 2019, 06:33 PM

B A N G I N G

Posted by: Bangtan Cody Apr 7 2019, 05:40 AM

100M in 2 days and 14 hours. Wow. PSY is officially irrelevant.

Posted by: Oricon Apr 7 2019, 10:22 PM

Since when was KPOP this popular on Buzzjack?!

Posted by: Addy K!ng Apr 7 2019, 11:46 PM

omg this is second best after Boombayah for me.

They are touring US and I have a chance to see them on May 1st or 2nd...tickets are not so expensive but I have no friends with who to go cause none of my white friends got into Blackpink or K-POP fever yet nocheer.gif

i'm bringing the new regime to buzzjack!

Posted by: *Callum Apr 8 2019, 12:38 PM

So this actually did break the YouTube record for the fastest-viewed music video in 24 hours with over 56 million hits! Can not wait to see them in London next month!

Posted by: LMLou Apr 8 2019, 03:31 PM

I’m so happy they broke the record, always amaze me how big their new relseases can be

Posted by: Bangtan Cody Apr 8 2019, 04:14 PM

flopriana grande

Even greater news for them considering they’ve already broken another YouTube record! Blinks didn’t come to play this comeback!

Posted by: KeThomas91 Apr 9 2019, 09:21 AM

We almost beat our 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' M/V's first 24 hour views in our second day this comeback, so proud of Blinks.

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 10 2019, 09:27 PM

This is just such a KILLER song. It really goes OFF!! wub.gif

Posted by: Mack. Apr 15 2019, 01:55 PM

Is 'Kill This Love' the highest UK charting female K-Pop single?

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 15 2019, 03:33 PM

It is indeed! Hoping it can become an actual hit eventually too. Such a banger! The last 30 seconds or so are outstanding heart.gif

Posted by: HausofTove Apr 15 2019, 10:21 PM

This is fire.

This surge of kpop recently is amazing to see.

it’s certainly the highest since... BLACKPINK themselves with Kiss And Make Up!

I watched their Coachella performance during the live stream and they looked like they were having the time of their lives. I’m glad, the DDDD performance in GMA felt a bit off even with the sketchy camera angles, and this was a major improvement.

Korea gets Kill This Love physicals next Tuesday!

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 16 2019, 07:13 AM

I still need to see their Coachella set in full, but I agree in regards to their GMA performance. I wish they did UK promo. Ughhh!

Posted by: Bangtan Cody Apr 16 2019, 08:52 PM

I had been reading some theories on Reddit that YG rushed their western/US promotions because they booked Coachella. KTL physicals will come out nearly three weeks after the single had already surfaced but people are thinking that the April 23 release was the plan all along so that they have the material for their world tour. Then Coachella happened and the dates didn’t line up, so the label pushed everything forward and scheduled other appearances both leading up to and in between the two weekends. So that might explain why they looked somewhat unprepared in GMA. Props to YG for adapting quickly though.

Then again, this was probs a blessing in disguise bc they would have gone against TWICE in music shows and Blinks and ONCEs apparently hate each other so yeah. Dodged a bullet.

they’ve been doing tons of radio promo as well, this makes me even more pumped for the future cheer.gif

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 17 2019, 07:39 PM

Yeah. I'm thinking their first huge top 10 smash (both UK & US) is right around the corner tbh.

Posted by: JüperTrouper Apr 18 2019, 12:33 AM

This does feel very calculated to be a western crossover hit.

I expect Lisa to take more prominence in their next song if they really want a crossover. Obvs I am biased :') but I feel like she definitely has the best chance to connect with non kpop fans.

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 18 2019, 05:27 PM

Yeah, I feel like more of Lisa will get the group more radio play and just generally off the ground in general.

Posted by: Jonjo Apr 19 2019, 11:16 PM

SO GOOD. I wish it wasn't so expensive to see them live </3

They also played "Flinch"

They’re so cute! I agree @ Lisa having the most cross-over appeal. Only 32(?) days til I see them at the O2 now, I’m so excited!
