Kings and Queen of random collaborations, Cobra Starship are due to release their third such sort as the lead single to their upcoming fifth(!) studio album with Swedish one-hit wonders Icona Pop. Following up from their top twenty hits "Good Girls Go Bad" (still a tune) and "You Make Me Feel...", "Never Been in Love" is due to be released on Monday, 25th August (US/worldwide, we'll be left waiting until October/November for it, I'm sure). I'm looking forward to hearing what it sounds like and wonder if they still have it in them to pull a surprise UK hit out of it! |

This could be amazing. Good Girls Go Bad is AMAZING (And I also liked their random Alexandra Burke hookup...shhh), and Icona Pop, obviously have had a fair amount of tunes. I'm ready for this. A great match.

Oooh yes, consider me excited! Icona Pop have done well to get their name out there with this and the Tiësto collaboration (which I'm still hoping will be a single soon).

Nothing special. Pretty faceless for a faceless act: their last two singles you could at least tell were by the same outfit. This could be sung by anybody. Interesting sample(?) of Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" though. This post has been edited by THEO.: 25th August 2014, 10:12 PM |

Hopefully a grower, because it's quite disappointing on a first listen.

Ugh it's just so meh isn't it. I really don't much like any of the tracks that they act as a feature. Their own music is the best tbh.

Cobra Starship come up with the goods every now and then and i enjoy their material, even a minor UK hit would be pleasing for them.

The video premiered a while ago btw.
After not thinking much of it on first listen I now am enjoying it a lot. It's extremely catchy Actually forget that second part that I've scrubbed This post has been edited by Rob S: 13th January 2015, 02:06 PM |
