As a die hard nut of 80's charts -
It sounds to me like you have the official Top 300 or more best selling singles of the 80's with sales figures.
I would love to have a copy of the listing.
If you could publsihed them on here that would be priceless - or if you could e-mail the listing.
I have a list of the official Top 200 best selling singles of 1981 (but not with sales figures though - sorry) which I could publish on here - please let me know if anyone would like me to.

Thanks,
Hairybear69

I DON'T have the 'Official' Top 300 Singles of the 1980's. I've estimated the Top 300.
Only the Top 100 is truly accurate. Numbers 101 to 300 are estimated - by me. I spent
hours & hours on it. However - my estimates ought not to be any more 'correct' than anyone
else's. ANYONE can estimate the Top 300 of the 1980's. It just takes time & patience.

Hi everyone,

Just letting you know that you can listen to the Radio 1 year-end charts for 1980 to 1989 on my YouTube channel ajs41.

I'm also uploading some bits of the Top 500 of the 1980s compiled by MRIB on the BRMB radio station. Looking for more information about this particular chart.

I currently know which songs occupied numbers 432 to 429, 421 to 364 (excl. 371 except I know it's by Madonna), 350 to 349, 252 to 233 (excl. 241 and 240) and the top 5 (from memory).

Regards,
Andy JS

[46] ONE DAY IN YOUR LIFE - Michael Jackson (730,000)

I had no idea this had sold so well, I knew it was a #1 though.

Sales were really good in the 90's, especially 1997 even if you exclude Candle In The Wind.
