Pictochat. *.* The OG of talking to each other over technology when you're all in the same room. Although it was helpful on school trips I remember!
The days when EVERYONE had a DS and Wii though. You know something has reached saturation point when the best selling games are all puzzle and brain training ones. Then with the Wii you had all those crappy party game knock-offs where the minigames where just shake the Wii remote. There was definitely no quality control with the amount of games available for both! The best games were definitely the Nintendo own ones though, in particular Mario Kart & Super Mario Galaxy! The latter and its sequel is some of the best games I've played! |

I got my first DS from my aunt when I was about 7/8 with her Nintendogs game and a few others, it genuinely took over my life for a period of time! I remember going on a Year 5 residential and EVERYONE had one, we just played games/PictoChatted the whole time. The game I really became obsessed with though was Drawn to Life, at last until I got stuck on a level and couldn't get any further
I was late to the Wii party but did get one when I was about 9 or 10 and that proceeded to also take over my life |

I played Drawn to Life!!!! it was such a good concept to have your drawings in the game!
the mechanics were a bit clunky though but i'll let it pass |

I played on a wii a bit when I was living in a share house at uni. Loved the sports.
