Internet Money gained their first top 40 single last week with the Gunna, Don Toliver & Nav assisted 'Lemonade'. It's already in the top 20 in today's chart update so looks like it's going to be massive. I can't particularly say the song is doing much for me at the moment but it does feel like a potential grower. The only over song I've heard of theirs is the Juice Wrld/Trippie Redd one that entered the top 100 last week and that was pretty decent. The album has got some decent reviews from what I've seen so I might check it out at some point.
Apparently there's a remix of 'Lemonade' coming which replaces Gunna & NAV with Roddy Ricch - my thoughts on that song were that Don Toliver was the only particularly good part of it and it could have used more interesting rappers for the verses, looks like that wish might be granted. x
I like the relaxing instrumental and chorus vocal but not really the rest of the song.
Roddy Ricch's verse is certainly better than either NAV's or Gunna's from the original as I hoped but unfortunately Don Toliver's verse added to this remix is pretty mediocre so it's not that much of an improvement overall. The hook is still by far the best part of the song.
Hook > Roddy verse > NAV verse > Don verse > Gunna verse xx
