Interested to see how everything links together. Currently wondering what the point of the stabbing was and why the boy specifically followed that woman.

Was very intrigued and then had the ending where the boy caused the coach crash 4 years earlier! And I thought I've got to see what happens. I thought Victor might be a baby she gave up for adoption that grew up, and then was killed/died, but she wouldn't know about it, he's returned to Mum, or he could not be a returnee and just be something else entirely!
Loved it, and I see in this thread there is a 2nd series, bum, thought it might be wrapped up in one unlike these US dramas that drag it on and on. I just hope series 2 is coming soon!

Series 2 is in production but not due to be aired in France until early 2014.

I'm still hooked into this, I must admit I'm pretty much lost in it. I like to know why the dam is losing water and why the house is infested by maggots and other creepy crawlies, it feels like the whole village has been built upon something. Still don't know what the boy (Victor) is connected to. And that scar on Camille's sister's back, there must be an episode coming up surrounding her character pretty soon which should answer that.

The final scene with THE CATS was so creepy and cheeky and brilliant! Best thing on TV right now.

Just caught up with episode 5 and my-oh-my it does keep on peaking. I'm struggling to find one weak plot currently which is incredible given how many different story arcs there are going on.

More than most, i'm oddly drawn to Camille everytime. Not quite sure what it is about her but she's a special little character and so watchable.

Simon is sex on legs. Camille is fabulous. What happened to Estaban's parents as a result of what she said was DARK.

It's still gripping stuff but only two episodes to go sad.gif The fact that Simon is rather easy on the eye is just a bonus.

I can't even begin to imagine how or what it is going on yet laugh.gif and how 2 episodes is going to be enough to wrap this series up!

Channel 4 have confirmed that they have bought the rights to the second series.

It has also been announced that a British version is being developed. The good news is that the man behind it is Paul Abbott, creator of Shameless, Clocking Off and State Of Play so it appears to be in capable hands.

THank goodness Channel 4 have managed to keep it. w00t.gif

And meh! It doesn't need a British version imo.

Can't wait for tonight cheer.gif

I'm so pleased that everyone else, watching at the British pace, will now also have to endure the pain of waiting for the second series.

I am going to miss this SO much. I have no idea what is going to replace it in my affections. I needed this to help me get over the end of Game of Thrones, now I need something else to help me get over this. Someone recommend me something, PLEASE.

If you're looking for something French, this was probably the best thing they had. You could try Braquo. It was made by Canal+ as well. I think it aired in the UK, so there should be subtitled episodes somewhere. It's as gritty as hell but quite good from what I can remember.
