I can't keep up with that man !
He sounds very excited. I'd love to be able to see it. Goodness knows how much the tickets would be. Good on him for doing something new too He's a busy boy |

I feel now that NOTHING would surprise me as far as Robbie goes.
He's a man of many twists and turns in his career. Shakes things up and keeps things interesting. |

Sorry for the triple post
This news makes sense of a few comments he's been putting on Upfront over the last few months. He gets asked a lot on these about performing in the US and he's put fairly ambiguous answers on there recently but not flat refusals. Also a lot of comments that in January he is going on a major diet and wants to lose 14 pounds. I was wondering why he wanted to do that when he already looks so good but now I understand. Also - Robbie and Ayda were in Las Vegas a few months ago - he posted it on Instagram. That was obviously to do with this deal. |

I wonder how many shows he will do , do you think some friendlies will go, i can just see them sitting in the audience with their banners , they are great at turning up to events
Here is an example of the cost of a ticket ( hotel room cost obviously not included ) |

He does look super trim these days & no wonder the gold chain got an outing, I wonder if that was one of the clues |

I wouldn't have thought Robbie would really be an attraction in Vegas as he's not known over there? Normally it's huge stars that do the shows over there. Cher, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Backstreet Boys, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, Lady Gaga... are some examples and all of them have been huge presences on the US charts in their careers... Robbie hasn't?

Robbie hasn't? Well they've booked him so someone must believe he can do it. That's his challenge I think he's doing swing so it will be his talent as a singer/showman /entertainer that will be tested rather than pop star/ song writer I think he will be up for the challenge. We'll find out . It's exciting that he's trying something new though. He's a brave man. I love him for that. |

Well he got the contract for some reason , if it does not work out for Robbie he will just move on to the next thing , he does not do 'standing still' , never has , he got over Rudebox so no worries , it either works or not |

I take it that he will go down the swing route for the LV show with maybe some new songs

$135 doesn't seem too bad to me. About the same as a UK gig isn't it?
I had a look at flights. I could save up over a few months. Can't do March though as it's year end at work. If it were August/September, I would have given it some serious consideration. I've seen somewhere online today he's doing about eight/ten shows. Don't know if that's true. It's very close though - hardly any time at all to wait. |

He won't know unless he tries and one thing I always credit him with is that he tries new stuff. He keeps moving forward and looking for ways to evolve his career. I just wish he would try serious acting. That's such a waste. This post has been edited by Laura130262: 12th November 2018, 12:30 AM |

I think he might do quite well with the Swing thing in LV , surely that is what he will go for
I am not sure about the acting thing , I could never see him doing serious role, can you !! |
