on the singles chart, it looks like either a seventh week #1 for Ariana Grande, or a first for Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You. Mariah also releases a remix of Oh Santa! along with Ariana & Jennifer Hudson, plus new singles from Digga D and 24kGoldn/DaBaby

with December underway, Michael Ball & Alfie Boe might reclaim the #1 spot from Gary Barlow, with Shawn Mendes' fourth album Wonder a potential contender, plus YUNGBLUD releases his second full-length record Weird!. There's new albums from Arctic Monkeys with Live At The Royal Albert Hall, Kelly Jones' Don't Let the Devil Take Another Day, Abra Cadabra's Product of My Environment and Sigur Rós's Odin's Raven Magic

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

YUNGBLUD to pull a surprise on the album chart this week please - everyone is underestimating his first week I think.

They’ve thrown everything at this week - price reductions, bundles, alternative sleeves etc.,

He’s doing personalised signed album via the epic Banquet Records too - https://www.banquetrecords.com/yungblud/wei...d%5D/0711800-PS

Is Shawn a big album seller in UK?
I didn't think he was?

I think it will be a tight chart week again from 5-15 probably seperated by only 2-3k of sales

Absolutely love Shawn’s latest record. The production is rich and though some lyrics are not without some ambiguity and vapidity, the album is gorgeous to listen to on these cold December nights.

Hoping for a solid debut for Shawn.

Shawn Mendes’ last released an album in 2018; the eponymous record opened at number three, with first-week sales of 23,419.
