Biography

Amalaratna Zandile Dlamini (born October 21, 1995), known professionally as Doja Cat, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she signed a recording contract with RCA Records in 2014, subsequently releasing her debut extended play, Purrr!, and a series of singles, including "Go to Town" and "So High". In 2018, Doja Cat rose to prominence and internet fame with her single "Mooo!", which became a viral music video and ultimately "set the tone for her career".

Doja Cat released her debut studio album, Amala, in 2018 and a deluxe repackage in 2019, which included the single "Tia Tamera". She released the single "Juicy" in August 2019 which reached number 41 on the US Billboard Hot 100, earning Doja Cat her first entry on the chart. In November 2019, Doja Cat released her second studio album, Hot Pink, which entered the chart in over 10 countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand. The album included the song "Say So" which became popular on the video-sharing platform TikTok, causing it to peak at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 10 on the UK Official Singles Chart, becoming her first song to enter the charts of various countries.

Biography

Australia-based singer and actor Troye Sivan makes lyrical ambient electronic dance-pop. Great song by Melanie C at number 1 20 years ago. It makes me feel old though remembering it was from 20 years ago, especially as I have the top 75 chart print out from Dotmusic saved on a floppy disc!

Calvin truly was robbed five years ago, if only we'd been fully in the OA/OS era then 'Marvin Gaye' never would've gone #1.

Hopefully Dua can manage to stay top 40 with Hallucinate tonight, then what Dobbo said.. (and Cardi B top 3 would be great too, but if she isn't she should get there next week)
