Kind of surprised at how bad some of her singles performed, well not bad but Firework definitely feels (and felt at the time) like a #1 and Last Friday Night feels bigger than a #9 peaking single too. Teenage Dream and The One That Got Away also from that era. But then conversely, Part Of Me going #1 is a surprise as it doesn’t feel as big as many other singles in her discography
 Those Witness sales are atrocious too which is a shame  Its not a great album but I think it deserves more recognition than it was given (even though the album campaign was terrible)

Where is Witness at now in terms of sales? I had no idea her sales dropped that much it’s similar to how Xtina dropped from Back to Basics to Bionic.

  One of my all time favourite songs and an underrated gem from the Teenage Dream era! All six singles from the original album are now (at least) Platinum certified, get that coin Katy

The OCC have published a list of Max Martin's best selling singles which confirms 'Dark Horse' has sold over 1.1m and 'California Gurls' has sold over 1m.
Next will be 'I Kissed a Girl' which has sales of 909k as of January 2019. |
