I know everyone will be but don't underestimate Take That - nobody expected 'These Days' to make #1.
Their new single 'Giants' is out on February 17th and I'm sure they will do the usual round of heavy promo - streaming will go heavily against them but their lead singles always seem to do well on sales and they have a physical. |

I would say the promo will be around mid March when the albums out!

Take That will go top 20 I think, streaming will push them out the top 10.

I think Take That will go top 10, although I doubt they'll get anywhere near knocking Ed off the top. I'm going for a song that gets big in 7 Years fashion to knock Ed off #1, can't see his BRITs effect being too big unless it's a totally new single myself!

After the performance of Cry and Hey Boy, I seriously doubt Take That will be any higher than low top 40

I read this thread as : 'Who will be the next artist other than Ed Sheeran to be #1' as knocking himself off the top doesn't really count.

So rumour has it, Katy Perry is coming back on Friday!
With her first proper single. I wonder if it'll do better than 'Rise'? |

A few years ago I would of said Take That, who apparently have a new single out next week, but I think they'll just go Top 40 in their first week simular to Robbie. There was an article on Digital Spy last week that said Daft Punk are releasing a new single soon, depending on what it sounds like and who it features (if anyone) that could be in with a shout? Failing that Ed willl knock himself off Number 1. Even if he doesn't release another single before the album, the fans will probably find a track on the album to stream to death. Take That is out Feb 24 |

I can definitely see Ed doing Castle On The Hill over Shape Of You on the BRITS so I wonder if that could knock himself off as opposed to a third single.
