You have voted and I can now announce Buzzjack's Track Of The Week is Little Mix's 'Hair'
The song is currently at #31 in the charts but it should be yet another top 20 hit for the girls, and more importantly Sean de Paul *.* It's quite close between Little Mix and P!nk this week, who as a top 2 have a huge lead over everything else. Full Results:
~ There's quite a few new releases about now, but because of the nature of the chart now most of them don't make a major chart impact at least in their first week. Taking the most notable new releases of the week I have shortlisted the potentials for Buzzjack's TOTW. Simply vote for your favourites and the song with the most votes will be the official BJ:TOTW winner! The contenders: Coldplay – Up&Up [Radio Edit] Fetty Wap – Wake Up Flume – Say It [feat. Tove Lo] Kygo – I'm In Love [feat. James Vincent McMorrow] Margaret - Cool Me Down Mumford & Sons & Baaba Maal - There Will Be Time disclaimer;; Beyoncé's 'Formation' has not been included as that's been out for months on YouTube/Tidal. ~ Tracks of the Week Archive Week 1: Galantis - No Money Week 2: Sigala - Give Me Your Love [feat. John Newman & Nile Rodgers] Week 3: Little Mix - Hair [feat. Sean Paul] |

Margaret by far. I haven't really listened to the others but considering I entered a song of hers to BJSC then I'm obviously going to support her but to be fair this song is amazing!

'Up&Up' feels quite Ghost Stories (from what I've heard of that album). I imagine Radio 1 will support it well and it'll keep the album afloat, but the song itself isn't really doing anything for me aside from just being quite pleasant and has spoiled the momentum built by the previous two singles. Can't see it being a hit, probably not even Top 40, but it won't matter - the occasional under-performer/flop never does when it comes to acts like Coldplay.
Fetty Wap isn't for me but I can imagine fans thinking it's a really good song and nice to hear a ballad from him. Heard some positive things for 'Say It' and I am a big fan of Tove Lo too, so I was expecting something good but was left pretty underwhelmed. Not fussed by new Kygo. Such a shame that the magical 'Here For You' has been snubbed for the likes of this and the Labrinth and Kodaline collabs which have been nice at best. 'Cool Me Down' is far and away the most interesting song here, it's got that electro-reggae sound that reminds me of Elliphant and the chorus to David Guetta's 'Hey Mama'. 'There Will Be Time' is, again, not doing anything for me, but at least Mumford are willing to try something a little different. |

Only the Margaret track for me this week.
I feel like I would like the Fetty track but as of now I haven't heard it so can't vote it. |
