For it’s UK release Light Me Up has been remixed giving the song a dance/pop feel rather than the country sound of the original track. Light Me Up is taken from Hunter’s forthcoming UK album which is expected to be released later in the year. In the US Hunter has released two albums – 2011’s Hunter Hayes and 2014’s Storyline – both of which topped the US country charts and debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. Liking the new mix a lot, kinda not really needed though as the original Light Me Up is...not particularly country sounding  But it's one of my favourite tracks by him and am overjoyed to see it getting a push!

tbf this is one of his best
 Really enjoying the remix, kinda sad how he has to get his songs remixed for any chance of success here but better than nothing I guess. Storyline NEEDS to be the next US single though.

LOVE Light Me Up! Really excited for this as Tattoo was brilliant
 I really like his voice, and I struggle to find male singers who's voices I actually like (as most of them are in bands )

Male country artists don't tend to do it for me but Hunter just has that spark in his voice that made me fall in love with him and his music
 I spent like 3 days listening to his debut album and absolutely nothing else when I first discovered him last year

 It sounds like the kinda thing Capital would absolutely love, so I really hope they get on board with it. Can't see it though

But it's amazing
In all fairness though, this isn't the song I'd start someone off on when it comes to Hunter, it's not even slightly representative of his music on the whole as it's normally country This is a remix of an old track. I still like it a LOT but the original is better by far imo, so anthemic and would sound incredible as the closing track in a stadium show *.*
