Afternoon all
 Hooray for the return to 4pm! One year since the Bieber domination began! 'What Do You Mean?' was such a brilliant way to start off the era. I never tired of it despite how long it stuck around! 'Cool For The Summer' was a fabulous debut in the top 10 as well, my favourite Demi song to date. That rocky breakdown *.* I was so glad that 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' debuted in the top 5 in 2011. It's a toss up between that and 'Give Me Love' for my favourite Ed song. <3 10 years since 'Sexyback' was no.1 *.* That era was inescapable at the time, though I wasn't complaining. Justin's first two eras were amazing. 'Too Close' isn't really a massive Blue highlight for me. Took me years to realise that it was a cover! |

Born Sean Paul Henriques on January 8, 1973, the multi-ethnic Paul (his parents had Portuguese, Chinese, and Jamaican forebears) grew up comfortably in St. Andrew, Jamaica, his mother a renowned painter. He was a skilled athlete, excelling in swimming and especially water polo, playing for the Jamaican national team in the latter. Although his education was enough to land him a prosperous career, dancehall music remained Paul's first love, particularly crafting rhythm tracks. In November 2011, Murs' released his second album, In Case You Didn't Know, which entered the charts at number one and resulted in two number-one singles. As of December 2014, Murs has sold over 10 million records worldwide. In May 2011, it was announced that Murs would return to The X Factor to co-present the spin-off show The Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack. His autobiography, Happy Days, was published in October 2012.
