This was filmed last summer, so the Christmas special of The Price is Right will air about 18 months after filming laugh.gif

Looking forward to it! Especially Bullseye and Price is Right.

I did enjoy the first episode with Play Your Cards Right on Saturday - though I'm not a massive fan of the original show. Excited for The Price is Right this week however! That's one of my favourite game shows of all time.

It felt too long for 1hr personally. A 45min format would be better. I did enjoy it though. Good banter from Alan.

I watched it, but Alan Carr as a quiz host does not do it for me, especially filling in for the iconic Bruce Forsyth, Play Your Cards Right is my favourite quiz show of all time, if they had a decent quiz host, ITV could revive it. Looking forward to The Price Is Right.

Bullseye, Take Your Pick and Strike It Lucky are best left alone.

I really enjoyed 'Play Your Cards Right' - it felt really nostalgic. I'm not really sure what the "special twist" was that I heard Alan Carr mention in an interview. Surely not the celebrity aspect?

I thought Alan Carr was perfect for this. It’s not something I’d be interested in watching all the time but I definitely can’t think of anyone who would make a better host for it.

The ratings so far appear to be quite good! And actually rose for The Price is Right, without the BGT lead in.

I think if any of the shows get brought back properly, it'll be TPIR.

the price is right was awesome to be fair, i loved it!

i'd love a full series + the beauty of it is that you could make the bulk of the show socially distanced!

Actually The Price Is Right left our TV screens in 2002, it was broadcast from September to December each year, X Factor replaced it a year later, TPIR could be the ideal solution to replace X Factor laugh.gif Let's make it happen biggrin.gif

I'm guessing we've forgotten the Joe Pasquale daytime revival from 2006-2007 then? Probably for the best. I think it could work if it was brought back as a Prime Time show - it's been going non-stop in the USA for the last half a century.

coincidentally, Alan Carr hosted a one-off (pilot) revival of The Price is Right for Channel 4 in Christmas 2017 but it only got about 1m viewers laugh.gif

To be fair, that's pretty average for Channel 4!

Play Your Cards Right and Take Your Pick would probably work best spun off, I think.

Renewed for a second series! I wonder what they'll do next? (I assume there will be a few returners from series 1)

I’d like to see them do the Golden Shot again. I enjoyed it from the Gameshow Marathon quite a while back. And I guess it would be too much to see them try to bring back my favourite underrated gameshow, Russian Roulette, but a guy can dream.

3-2-1 ----- I remember the series with Ted Rogers it was transmitted on Saturdays nights, used to love that,

Its Friday, its Sale of the Century, would love to see that make a comeback
