In the absence of more quiz hosts, here's my second quiz of the current season and it's a pretty straightforward 'Never Mind The Buzzjacks' style quiz. Here the intros to 25 UK number ones and all you have to do is identify the artist and title of each song (scoring system is 1 point for correct artist, 1 point for correct title). To make things a little more challenging, I haven't separated the songs.

The oldest one is from 1979 but the majority are from the 1990s onwards.

As always in these types of quiz, I've also included one song which DIDN'T make number one in the UK, so there are bonus points up for grabs if you can identify this, and there also another couple of bonus questions.

Here are the intros:



Bonus questions:
1. What is the red herring which didn't make number one? (3 points)
2. What will be the most correctly guessed song? (3 points)
3. What will be the least correctly guessed song? (3 points)

(you can answer by name or by number so always worth a guess at the number)

Well I remain dreadful at these quizzes but my concerted effort to learn songs I don't know is definitely paying off - two songs which I added to my playlist last month are in here including (I hope!) the non-#1! Here's hoping I can get a few more than two points in this though tongue.gif

Going to give this a go. A couple of the songs are annoying me as I've heard them but cannot remember what the songs are called or the artist. laugh.gif Don't think I'm going to do that well.

I'm not precious about the order, as long as you've got the correct artist and title you'll get the point.
