Chart Commentary

"Hello everyone, it’s time once again for our weekly show of the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary!

Heartbreak Anthem is still the #1 song in this weeks chart, managing to restrain the highest new entry this week from claiming a top position in its debut week. Summery anthem Kiss Me More by Doja Cat is this week’s Track of the Week at #2.

Calvin Harris makes a long and overdue return to the Top 40 Countdown with new single featuring Tom Grennan, which is a new entry inside the Top 10 this week. Elsewhere Jonas Blue, MK, Bicep and Velvet all enter the chart.

This week’s biggest climber this week comes from Dragonette, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano & Cat Dealers featuring Bruno Martini with Summer Thing. Afrojack, Bebe Rexha, Jubël, Prospa, MØ and Jax Jones all climb.

BED suffers the worst blow this week and is the biggest faller. Out of the chart goes Pleasure Generation, Rowen Reecks, ATB, London Grammar, ABDA and Sleepwalkrs.
