Brilliant Brilliant indeed! They need to get a move on with the technology of electric cars though. They are still too expensive and don't do enough miles between re-charges. I'd be very happy to get one if they sort this out.

I also read that if you have the radio, wipers, & lights on at the same time it drains the battery so you could get stranded somewhere . They have a long way to go yet I think

Not fast enough I believe, I read recently that they did not have enough charging stations & people were having to queue up to charge their cars which is not very satisfactory ...

Our neighbour who is a taxi driver paid £400 to have one installed at home. He plugs it in each night. It sits there with it's back lights on. His taxi is so quiet. He leaves very early in the morning and used to wake me up but since he got his electric taxi we don't hear him.
