It's great. Not single material, but it'll work great as an album/buzz track! I'm wanting something a bit 'All Hands On Deck'/'2 On' for the first single. Something that will break her out more to the general public!

its nice but i feel i've heard it all before both with tinashe and the feat'd artist when it's a total ode to young thug's 'check'...

i feel mildly apprehensive as i don't know why you'd choose to launch the era that revolutionises your career with a song we might as well have heard as 15 different past iterations. where is the perspective or the long-game?

Absolutely adore this, So captivating. I really hope we get a video.

I'm sure the lead single will be something much more commercial, this is such a great introduction to the new era though!

So in her most recent interview she claimed there is no set release date yet but it will "hopefully be the end of this year or the beginning of next".

I thought next month was a bit too good to be true. To be fair, I think for this to be a far bigger commercial success than 'Aquarius', to release it so soon would be slightly silly, as much as I just want to have it ASAP. She needs to work on building up 'Player' with a wonderful video and some promo first and try and get a hit before dropping the album. I think taking their time may be slightly better.

Agreed. I think a middle of Jan release could be good and benefit her and get her a top 40 album over here, this time. (Providing she gets playlisted for a single or two by R1 & has promo lined up for it)

Oh well. At least we have new material to tide us over. This has just came out, a collaboration with Snakehips and Chance The Rapper and it's so so good. She really is becoming the queen of unexpected features.

She confirmed in an interview the album will be coming out on January 8th.

I'm okay with waiting until the competition is less heavy. If she were to release now she would get completely swallowed up.
