A song originally written in mind for Rihanna, someone you wouldn't expect to sing about putting 'Van the Man' on the jukebox so in the end it was Ed's. It's his second-highest peaker on the Multi behind Thinking Out Loud (#2) |

Shape of You still sounds good to me tbh :') overplayed for sure but I can still enjoy it when it comes on.

for all the hate that Ed Sheeran gets, he seemingly is loved just as much.
can't really take 'Shape Of You' after all the overplay but it's quite a decent song. |

Nicki Minaj - Swish Swish (36-11-10-13-8-11-11-11-12-14-22-24-35-40-29-17-14-14-17-19-21-35-xx) [22 wks] You might be surprised that Katy Perry's highest appearance isn't with six-week Multi #1 'Chained To The Rhythm' but with her third Witness single 'Swish Swish'! Of course it benefits from going top 10 before it was even an official single, and it hung around the Multichart up until that point while her other singles were long gone. In fact, it was top 40 for its entire 22-week run (i.e. never charting between #41 and #75) AND, like 'Feel It Still' its EOY peak is higher than it ever charted in a given week! |

Really? One of the most forgettable hits of last year definitely, benefits a lot from its longevity I suppose but this is quite high

It was already a huge hit in Latin America when Justin Bieber jumped on a remix of the track, sending it stratospheric on a global scale. It went to #1 in the UK, even managing a couple of weeks at #1 after being hit by ACR. In the multichart, it didn't quite make the top spot, but nonetheless spent nine weeks in the top 10 and a huge 27 weeks in the top 75 (including its original version). |

4 1323 Avicii feat. Rita Ora - Lonely Together (33-12-17-18-12-9-5-5-2-1-1-4-3-4-6-5-11-10-18-21-...) [20+ wks] 2 years after Stories, Avicii made his return with a self-titled EP, 'Lonely Together' featuring Rita Ora (or a voice that resembles hers) being the UK single, it went on to spend two weeks atop the Multichart. Feels very bittersweet seeing that so high now. Lonely Together remains my favourite of his, and I'm glad Buzzjack loved it too

3 1361 Clean Bandit feat. Zara Larsson - Symphony (42-10-3-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-5-8-8-15-21-18-22-26-37-50-46-67-xx) [23 wks] Finally up to 3rd place! 'Symphony' was bound to be an obvious Buzzfave ever since the Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson collab was announced. It became the fourth (and third consecutive) Multichart #1 for Clean Bandit and the first for Zara! Clean Bandit now have spent half a year (26 weeks) at #1 on the Multichart - 5 weeks for 'Rather Be', 6 for 'Tears', 8 for 'Rockabye' and 7 for 'Symphony'! |

[25+ wks] I GOT NEW RULES AMCAMDAM Dua's album finally arrived after countless single releases, and looked like a moderate success but post album single New Rules changed everything- a massive pop song paired with the perfect video sent it stratospheric: #1 in the UK plus of course #1 in the Multichart itself, for 10 whole weeks (the longest stay of the year unless you include Anywhere's run which spilled into 2018) thus Dua Lipa joins Alan Walker, Major Lazer, Sia and many before as the winner of the YEAR-END MULTICHART the most prestigious of her accomplishments to date |
