Homeland has been going between dull and amazing ever since Season 3. I remember watching the first half of Season 4 and thinking why on earth am I still watching it but it ended up paying off well and the second half (aside from the dullest final episode in history) was so great, especially with the Saul kidnap storyline.
This series started off slow again but I've found its really picking up and my highlight was with the Quinn & hostage episode. I'm really glad that they've finally focused on Dar Adal's more evil ways after Carrie saw him in the back of that car in Season 4. I was wondering why that was never even focused on since but its good that they're focusing on that now. It could even stretch all the way back to the first season by placing him as the mole. I'm watching at UK pace which I think is up to Ep. 7, I wonder if Dar is trying to take down Carrie because of that sighting? It has been a long time though after that Season 5 time jump. |
