MDNA is her best album yet and those who do not agree deserve to be slapped. Yes I love MDNA too and also Hard Candy. IMO both are better than Confessions. Now not many people think that! Been a big fan since her first album and can't wait for the new one. This post has been edited by Common Sense: 10th April 2014, 01:22 PM |

Maybe she will get another #1 single after all, if that's the case! There was an interesting thread on Digital Spy, asking if she'll ever get another US No.1 single. I think she will and here in the UK too. If she wants another UK No.1 album she'd better not release the same week this autumn as Take That as she'd be beaten easily. I think she's had it to be honest. Its much harder for someone her age to come back with a big hit and given the poor reception to her last album, its going to be a big uphill battle. Don't get me wrong, its not impossible but she will have to return with something pretty spectacular to make that happen! |

I really want her to get another #1 (if only so that Westlife don't have more #1s than her) but yeah, I can't see how it'd happen in this day and age.
Maybe she's due her 'Believe' or 'On The Floor' in a few years though? |

You lot need to remember that the last album wasn't promoted at all!
Radio 1 will ignore it, but if she has a killer song then I think she could achieve another number 1 single! |

Sources tell Billboard that M's next LP is not finished yet
It seems that the MadonnaTribe folks are not the only ones taking the reports of Madonna's new album being finished and done with a grain of salt. Billboard's Jason Lipshutz also wonders is the follow-up to 2012's "MDNA" could really be upon us, and reports: "A rep for Madonna has declined a request for comment, but sources tell Billboard that the pop superstar's next full-length is not yet completed, and that she is still writing and recording new music for the set, presumably in Los Angeles." "Last month, Madonna told her Instagram followers that she was "on my way to the studio to work with Avicii," and hit the studio earlier this month to work with Natalia Kills and Martin Kierszenbaum. Toby Gad, S1 and MoZella are also attached to the new project." Read the full story on Billboard.com |

I'm so nervous about this album. I wish I could not give a f*** about her activities these days but I do, because she's Madonna, and everything about the imagery/her social media terrorism/general life outlook right now tells me this may plumb depths even greater than MDNA. The only positive sign is the involvement of Toby Gad. If "Body Shop" is an actual song title I will sob.

I'm a little sceptical about her collaboration with Avicii - if it's a fresh, big sounding song like his singles have been then great, but I'm worried it will end up a messy, half-hearted effort. Working with Symbolyc One is odd since he's works with the likes of 50 Cent, Kanye West and Eminem. All seems to be a bit of another desperate attempt to capture that younger audience. Collaborating with a producer/writer for Gaga's The Fame says it all really. |

I'm really excited for this album... the only thing I'm worried about is her voice.
Vocally she sounded dreadful at MTV with Miley and the Grammys with Macklemore etc. It has nothing to do with not being a power house. She sounded really nasal and un trained. |
