What is the best song?
Like a Drug, i am a very big fan of this song.
Into the Blue
Close one between that and Get Outta My Way, though. Like A Drug is a favourite from X but... doesn't really compare to the other two.
Like a drug followed by into the blue.
Like a drug by a million miles.
'Get Outta My Way', followed by 'Like a Drug', followed by 'Into The Blue'.
Into the blue and get outta my way would in the same level for me with like a drug much much preferred. Like a drug is one of my all time fave kylie songs and still miffed it was never a single.
In a perfectly executed era, 'Like A Drug' would have been a single somewhere along the line and '2 Hearts' not. But ah well, what can you do?
Like a drug I would have had for 2nd single with the one the lead.
GOOMW by far.
The other 2 are good but not great. Had it been Speakerphone then maybe it would be harder
Get Outta My Way is her best song so easily gets my vote!
Definitely has to be Like a Drug for me, always been one of my favourites of hers.
'Like A Drug' - the greatest single that never was...
Would be a brill record store day release.
Like a Drug and Into The Blue battling for 2nd place.
Disappointing to see get outta my way winning this.
I know a surprising number of people who consider 'Get Outta My Way' their favourite song of hers! (Both fans and casual/non fans).
It has some big fans that's for sure, but I dont get how people can think it's her best song.
Not her best, but probably top10 for me.
Def not near her best but far from her worst aswell.
Like a drug, should’ve been the second single from X after In My arms...
Disagree, in my arms would not have been the strongest lead single, 3rd or 4th single ya.
1) Get Outta My Way
2) Like a Drug
3) Into the Blue
I think, but they all rate so closely so the order could easily change. Listening to 'Into the Blue' now, I'd love this song to make a return on tour. Regardless of what was going on during the Kiss Me Once era, Kylie seemed to genuinely love this song. It's bursting with joy and those strings are so heavenly.
I do think into the blue will be on a tour but most likely part of a megamix.
Like a Drug, another Kylie classic that was deserving of much greater success, a song full of potential that ,could have sat one side of other classic Kylie singles.
Like a drug and the one are big faves of mine and prob 2 of my most listened to kylie songs, I hate that neither are seen as big chart hits. X was so screwed up with bad single choices as these 2 songs should have been 1st and 2nd singles. At least with into the blue it was the right choice of lead single from what was on offer. Get outta my way I can it or leave it but see why it was chosen and to be fair it does keep tipping away in low sales/streams which have helped bring up its sales.
2 Hearts winning lead single status over so many greater songs on the album still annoys and baffles me.
A sign that switching labels would be the correct direction for Kylie.
2 hearts as lead single was just so stupid, the one is exactly what a killer lead single should be and they let it slip through their fingers.
Only just spotted that I hadn’t voted in this not that my choice has changed much Love them all but went for GOOMW
The huge fan love of get outta my way baffles me. Its not a bad song but I dont love it.
Out of interest, what inspired the poll and these particular choices? These 3 songs are quite random to put together!
My favourite is Into the Blue, closely followed by Get Outta My Way. Like a Drug was definitely a highlight from X but out of these songs it's last for me.
I remember there was huge hype around it from fans etc and when I first heard it I was like I dont see what's so great about it, I always see it as a cheap love at first sight knock off and never thought it would be a big hit so I was in no way surprised it missed the top 10. I do like better than today but it was a bad choice of single, when I heard it was 3rd single I was happy and with xfactor performance etc I was sure it would go top 20 so was so disappointed with its peak.
GOOMW should've been the lead imo. But they picked the 2 best songs to be 1st and 2nd singles. The rest of the album was incredibly mediocre
I always get that vibe from it but I rarely listen to it now I also see it as such a poor follow up to all the lovers which I absolutely love.
All the Lovers was always hard to follow up as it connected with not just the fans but the casual listener too.
Get outta my Way struggled outside the fanbase which knocked the momentum the album was experiencing.
All the lovers always gives me that warm fuzzy feeling and kylie always nails it live which I love, such a career standout song.
I would have liked top 2 for All the Lovers and ideally number 1.That said, number 3 is impressive and the reality is it was Kylie's last huge hit.
Ya sadly it was unless she gets a magical surprise collaboration hit.
A Calvin Harris or Jax Jones collaboration could happen, I would not completely rule it out.
I can't imagine those collaborating with her, I'm still holding out for a second Sigala collaboration to be pushed as a single.
Been really loving 'Get Outta My Way' so much this week. It's my social distancing anthem for when I'm in the supermarket!
Good social distancing song!! I'd love a big collab like that but prob wont happen now, sigala should have pushed the kylie duet but maybe another might happen.
Very disappointing that the Sigala What You Waiting For track waited unused.
Next time a Sigala featuring Kylie and Dannii together would be welcoming, could it work?
