Most of the new entries are associated with the Drake/Kendrick feud, although they saved room for GloRilla and Chappell Roan to enter. On the album chart, Taylor Swift blocks Dua Lipa from #1. Future Nostalgia had spent just its first week at #1 in NZ. Better than Sia, though, who actually matches the #35 peak of LSD's album from five years ago. Sia's career peak is still #4 for 1000 Forms Of Fear in 2014.

Two more new entries courtesy of Myles Smith and Macklemore; the latter is charting for the first time since his collab on Why Don't We's 'I Don't Belong In This Club', which peaked at #25 in 2019, and the first time as lead artist since 'Good Old Days' peaked at #14 in 2017! Kings Of Leon broke their #1 albums streak with their last release, which peaked at #2 in 2021. This time they debut at #3. Gunna earns his second top 10 album in NZ, his first since Wunna peaked at #7 in 2020. His most recent release A Gift & A Curse peaked at #12 last year. If I counted right, her 2019 album had 8 charting tracks and her 2021 album had 6 (and not necessarily at the same time). Alas, she does not claim a third NZ #1, as 'Bad Guy' and 'Therefore I Am' remain her only two. Taylor's album drops to #2 after 4 weeks at #1, whereas Midnights spent its first 6 weeks at #1. Billie Eilish unsurprisingly earns her third consecutive #1 album. If you were curious of Zayn's chart trajectory, his debut Mind Of Mine reached #1, while sophomore album Icarus Falls didn't chart at all. Nobody Is Listening peaked at #31 in 2021, and now Room Under The Stairs scrapes in at #38.

Central Cee adds a fourth top 20 hit to his tally while Zach Bryan falls just short. On the album chart, Billie stays at #1, already surpassing the one week her previous album spent at the top. When We All Fall Asleep... spent 10 weeks at #1 so she still has a way to go to match that. Twenty One Pilots match the #3 peak of their last album, but not the #2 peak of Blurryface or #1 peak of Trench. Bring Me The Horizon get their second-highest charting album to date, despite presumably not all formats being available yet. That's The Spirit got to #2 in 2015, while Amo was #9 in 2019 and Sempiternal was #10 in 2013. Apparently a blue-vinyl release of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours justifies its re-entry into the album chart.
