I selected that song as damage limitation after Little Boots; The Boy & The Robot and then you grabbing my longing running song that peaked at #2 in my Personal Chart by a certain Icelandic artist who wrote Kylie's Slow had been selected.

Therefore I was just grateful to keep up my 100% record of reaching the Final.

I actually chose it for a contest on CHC where we all get assigned a country and pick a song in a similar style of contest...Iceland was randomly chosen for me and the only Icelandic artists I knew of were Bjork, Emiliana, Alda, Sigur Ros, Nylon and the ESC Icelandic artists...I did a bit of youtube searching and instantly fell in love with Jungle Drum, and then about five minutes later decided that it was a hell of a lot better than Pixie and dropped her post-haste!

Robyn was loved by the indie crowd before she regained her success in the UK.

Pitchfork gave it an 8.2 (which is v. good by their standards, especially for a pop album) when it was originally released in 2005. Be Mine! was in their Top 20 tracks of the year. Haha, sometimes stuff loved by the indie crowd can gain mainstream success. ;D
