I know this sounds odd, but in the 'Rather Be' video for Clean Bandit, there were lots of subliminal bits of their album cover thrown into the mix. I've just been watching the Extraordinary video on YouTube, and I've noticed the camera specifically goes on to a woman dancing wearing a Little Mix t-shirt.



I can't imagine this is a coincidence that she's styled like this, do you think there's anything in the pipeline for Clean Bandit and Little Mix? Seems like an odd mix but it can't just be a random choice of outfit that they've stuck her in a Little Mix shirt.

The top 5 from 'Salute' I think you should listen to are:

'Salute'; 'Move'; 'Nothing Feels Like You'; 'A Different Beat' (they're more to 'Move''s style and sound) 'These Four Walls' & 'Towers' (my personal fave) are well worth checking out too but 'Towers' & 'These Four Walls' are completely different to 'Move' so I'm not sure on how you'd feel about them!

Seeing Little Mix for the first time ever on Saturday. I'm sure it'll be he same setlist as Capital, Move/Wings/Black Magic/Salute.
I'd personally prefer DNA over Wings but as long as Black Magic and Move are there, then I'm happy!

Little Mix were fantastic last night. They did Salute/Black Magic/How You Doin'/Move/Wings. They are seriously energetic and flawless performers. It was good to see them when it's not full of 12 year old girls and older fans instead. Perrie tweeted that it was the best gig of her life. I also unexpectedly met Jade afterwards and she was such a down to earth and friendly babe!

That's surely going to put them in Capital's good books. Focus has been immediately dropped from the Capital playlist (the S list which is the highest playlist), hopefully LMLY will be moved up as a thank you.

It's kinda exhausting seeing fans up in arms about Best Group. Yes, there's been a couple of odd inclusions over the years, but generally, no, no artist would be nominated without launching a new era/album that year. Do I agree the rules are silly? Yes. Nah that's well dodgy, they were legit #1 as they closed voting... It pisses me off that they can't go ONE year without a 1D circle jerk in some form, nothing against Harry Styles but 1D has won it EVERY year and now Harry has to despite not even topping the vote... Idk what happened, if they only counted UK votes then surely on the actual website where you could see the rankings, it wouldn't have had LM at the top? It perhaps could have been that the last little rush made that counter mess up a tad, but the hashtag for the girls was of course trending too suggesting they were highest. But then it was an x number (one per day per user i think?) And retweets didn't count so I don't think you can use trending to measure that accurately.

Either way I think the video one shouldn't be public voted, it becomes about fanbase rather than video. Judging by the actual video if should have been New Rules or Symphony, but ofc I was more than happy for the girls to get it.

That's exactly what it is, I think. It's gotta be SO hard for artists to truly love a song and then not only perform it constantly (particularly if it's one of their biggest hits), but I imagine recording numerous takes of the song over and over again until you get it right... unless you're a pure pop person, then I doubt you can like a song like BM so much.

I love how much they all seem to love SOTME. Every time they perform that song, you can tell they just live in that moment and are SO proud of it. Also, I love that they mention 'Always Be Together'! I think that's so cute and under appreciated.

Woman Like Me crossed my mind when it was mentioned that “the feature makes the song” but I think it’s one of their earlier hits and if they did dislike WLM I’d rather they not say it because Nicki would troll them.

I’d really love to know more on single choices like what songs they were pushed into releasing and if they match with what were actually singles. Did Jesy always dislike Black Magic or did she grow tired of it.

That Truth Or Wine video has to be one of their funniest moments. They are so honest and don't shy away from even the awkward questions! Shocked Jesy doesn't like Black Magic and also how they would never work with one of their past collaborators again! So is everyone sure it's Charlie? I love a bit of shady gossip. I’ve been seeing those videos on my feed today. I happened to scroll down the comments and though and I gasped at how horrific some people can be towards a child! I have to say though the majority of the homophobic comments are mostly coming from people from the USA from what I’m seeing.

I’m slightly nervous as I think Get Weird is a cardboard sleeve (for the deluxe) I just hope it is in good condition!

Was a physical DNA single ever released? I was in my local HMV and saw a cardboard sleeve of the single for £14.99 with the single artwork. I always assumed it was just a pricing error and that the CD single was readily available until I went home and could find no trace of it.

Watching the LM5 tour I hate how simplistic and 'The Saturdays' the routine for 'Salute' is compared to the older one they had that worked so well. Same with 'Power' which used to be so high energy and now there's a point in the chorus where they literally stand still and just flick their hair.

Even the 'Sweet Melody' video - which is perfect otherwise - is let down slightly with the underwhelming and minimal dancing on the first and final chorus.

They seem to enjoy taking credit for the girls' success but can't even secure US radio play (which is their most basic responsibility in my eyes).

I saw someone on Facebook comment on their Secret Love Song performance saying 'Perrie Edwards is one of the best female vocalists of our generation' and was surprised to see how many people liked it and commented that they agreed. It wasn't even a Little Mix fanpage or anything posted by The Search, I'm sure it was something by like OK Magazine or a tabloid.

It just made me realise that so many casual members of the GP know their names now and recognize their talent and with 2 million people watching their show, an album selling around 45 - 50K, a potential top three single and another big tour scheduled it's pretty safe to say they're one of the biggest artists in the UK right now. Ed Sheeran and Adele will never be matched but who else is there that's bigger than them? I guess Lewis Capaldi?

I think they're definitely the female counterpart to Take That in a sense and they're definitely finally known as a girl group who can 'actually sing'....but I'm really excited to see how much longer they'll last and how long they can have hit singles and albums. I feel like because the Confetti era has been so huge (already) then there will be goodwill and anticipation towards their 7th album (similar to the buzz after Glory Days) which could line them up for potentially ANOTHER successful album era.

It's just so exciting being a fan of these girls.

Smells like shit. I really hope it isn't true. Maybe if Sweet Melody and Confetti were flopping hard I would be more inclined to believe it but even then it would be a stretch. I think they have the sense to know that going solo is not a good idea for their careers.

The timing of that article really couldn't come at a worse time.

They need to keep the girls out of their mouths until it's officially said from the girls themselves, right now.

Am I denying it wasn't talked about? Absolutely not. I'm sure when you're in a group solo talks eventually happen and it'd be a miracle if they stayed together as a group forever, like how a solo artist can release as and when they want to. I am prepared for an inevitable split/hiatus at some point. But when they've specifically asked for privacy... that timing just makes them look ridiculous and awful.

If there was ever a time to spam 'Wasabi'... it's now.

Just like clockwork.. even though the article isn’t actually slandering and the “plan” is better than what most girl groups do, it’s still very tacky to kick the girls whilst they’re down. But it literally just goes to show how in one breath the tabloids will go from making articles about Jesy’s mental health to then talking about how the group will split up. I don’t understand the fetish people have for Little Mix breaking up.. is it just some sort of masochism after every other UK group broke up?

It's just annoying them coz they haven't split when the doubters originally said that they would... after 'Salute' but then 'Black Magic' happened and they hated it. So we eventually got 'Wasabi' after people were doubting them, even after the GD era was a huge smash.

The critics just hate seeing young, successful women thrive. So they'll try anything to tear them down and it hurts them so much that after even a sniff of an underperformance (LM5/Bounce Back/OIBM) they are managing to get back on track and smash it out the park again. 'Sweet Melody' is looking to be their biggest hit since 'Woman Like Me' (maybe since the Glory Days era) and they hate it.

It's like they're all in a rush to be the first to say "told you so!" so will constantly say "Little Mix are SPLITTING!!!" until eventually...

At this point in their careers it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they took a year off to focus on solo projects (kinda like what McFly did - Tom did writing, Harry did some reality stuff & Danny did The Voice/solo music) and then came back better than ever after a short (actual) hiatus.

Also, I'm so proud of what they have achieved and obviously will support whatever they do. Whether they're a group or solo. They all deserve the world. I'd just rather the conspiracy theories about them splitting would stop after they've debunked it SO many times before and just let whatever happens in the future, happen ... but I guess that is the price you pay for getting invested in a pop group. The stuff you should kinda expect aha.

In all fairness though the article isn’t discussing them splitting up, it’s just stating that they are looking at pursuing solo projects individually - it actually makes a point of saying it isn’t about them splitting.


The article is probably bullshit, but it’s not really dragging anyone or anything..

I just want to say that I love how involved Jade is with absolutely everything Little Mix. You can really tell she lives and breathes being in the group and while it's perfectly fine for the others to 'switch off' from their role in the band, it's also so refreshing to see someone really appreciate every second and still be this enthusiastic after 10 years - she's always writing and recording stuff for the girls (she was all over Sweet Melody), she's always so active on social media and sharing behind the scenes clips and info about album tracks, she has amazing taste in their music (Wasabi) and the Wasabi video is practically 90% her in multiple takes and set ups.

She has such an amazing attitude to everything.

Regardless of whether it was shade or not, she REALLY needs better PR. Everything she's posted/said since the split has been ever so slightly shady whether she means it or not. It's not a good look for her.

(Again, I'm not saying it's intentional, but Twitter/Facebook/Instagram comments are quite negative against her with this sort of stuff and the comments about her being 'miserable' in Little Mix etc)

Like I said, I'm not sure Jesy saw the Little Mix magazine underneath and was just reacting to the users video when reposting (however, I do think things aren't as clear cut as people believe anymore). Jesy was in the band for 9 years.. this kinda stuff will get talked about.

However, the user who shot the video I am less convinced. Using the caption "You Go Gal" and conveniently getting the "Go Girl" magazine in shot when, if they were really excited about seeing Jesy on the cover, they wouldn't just run up to it and start recording as they pick it up or something... nah. I'm convinced the caption and positioning of the camera was intentional on their behalf.

Edit: Was the video one of Jesy's friends or a fan?

the feel of the song is like "ciao adios" which is probably the strongest of anne-marie's songs so it might actually be good!!
