The Vaccines are due to release their third album, English Graffiti, later this year as the follow-up to 2012's #1 album Come of Age and the 2013 EP Melody Calling. The album is lead by the single "Handsome", which premièred this week and is due for release on 8 March.
The album is entirely produced by Dave Fridmann (MGMT, The Flaming Lips, OK Go) and he's included an additional edit of the song on the single release.
Liking this!
So "Handsome" became their least successful lead single to-date this week, charting at #74 despite Radio 1 support I still don't love it though, hopefully there'll be much better on the album which is released 25th May:
1. "Handsome"
2. "Dream Lover"
3. "Minimal Affection"
4. "20/20"
5. "(All Afternoon) In Love"
6. "Denial"
7. "Want You So Bad"
8. "Radio Bikini"
9. "Maybe I Could Hold You"
10. "Give Me A Sign"
11. "Undercover"
12. "English Graffiti"
13. "Stranger"
14. "Miracle"
15. "Handsome" [Reimagined - Dave Fridmann Edit]
16. "Dream Lover" [Reimagined - Malcolm Zillion Edit]
17. "20/20" [Reimagined - Dave Fridmann Edit"
18. "Give Me A Sign" [Reimagined - Co Co Edit]
I do love 'Handsome', it's much better than 'Post Break-Up Sex' and 'No Hope' to my ears (though NOT QUITE as brilliant as 'If You Wanna' or 'Teenage Icon') when I compare it against their pre-album singles. I hope the next single is great!
Standard edition has leaked. I'm far more excited to listen to it, having heard "Dream Lover", which is my favourite of theirs since "I Always Knew".
I will def buy this since there last album was absolutely amazing, really poppy Blur style!
Wow, this is really good! Their best album for me already, think the two singles are my favourites though.
