hi.gif I don’t post in here very often but as the proud owner of Spice Girls debut album it will always have a special place in my collection as my first even album I owned! ohmy.gif

I am looking at some older songs that have instrumental versions to determine which sound the best and if the melody would lend itself to a current song by a different artist.

At the moment I’m a fan of the instrumental to Naked posted below but I wondered if any other fans have a favourite song in instrumental format that they ever come back to from time to time?

hi.gif heart.gif

I like a lot of their instrumentals, it’s interesting to clearly hear some details that aren’t so apparent in the vocal versions. Spice Up Your Life & Holler are two of my favourites, even without vocals they sound like bops *.* Never Give Up on the Good Times instrumental sounds very uplifting too.

I love Spice Up Your Life's instrumental, it always takes me back to ROTSG and SW2019

They could do a 15 minute version with lots of la la la and instrumental, I wouldn't complain biggrin.gif

Also, Too Much is a nice chilled instrumental to listen to, and always reminds me of Lighthouse Family’s single Lost In Space.

I think Goodbye and believe it or not Headlines are both absolutely stunning.

I do believe it. Headlines sounds gorgeous, the problem with it is the lyrics, the lack of Mel B and the Victoria-led second chorus dry.gif

Spice Up Your Life, just full of relentless energy for the Spice Girls to make a big statement, I see it almost as the 90s equivalent of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Two Tribes.
