Tommy Richman achieved his first top 40 hit this week with 'MILLION DOLLAR BABY' debuting at #31.
He appears to usually be a rapper but this is a funky 'Brent Faiyaz' sounding track. It's no surprise that he's actually signed to Faiyaz's label. |

This is excellent indeed. It sounds very much like Brent Faiyaz but if i'm being honest, this sounds even better than anything that I've heard from Faiyaz
 This is set to debut at #2 in the USA this week but it's only just over 40 points away from Taylor & Posty at #1 with virtually no airplay right now. |

I've been checking out some of his other music this afternoon, and his recent single 'SELFISH' is also so good!
Apparently he has some punk music too, that should be interesting.

iirc I saw a YouTube comment stating that he’s produced/co-produced stuff for Brent Faiyaz so the similarities aren’t really that surprising

I just heard this for the first time earlier today and didn't really know what to make of it on first listen but felt intrigued enough to give it another listen and I am kind of hooked on it now - I have been a big fan of a lot of Brent Faiyaz's stuff so no surprise I guess. I'm not sure I'd go as far as saying it's better than anything Brent has done though. 'DEAD MAN WALKING' deserved to be the huge hit this is becoming x
Officially debuted at #2 in the US and early predictions have it rising to #1 in its second week although with only a small lead over Kendrick's 'euphoria'. I expect it has a good chance of getting #1 the following week even if it does get blocked by Kendrick for now though. |
