A new version of Daddy Yankee's latest single https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiItGE3eAyQ, which features Snow, will be released soon with new verses sung by Katy Perry. The track interpolates Snow's 1992 hit single https://open.spotify.com/track/2LjiPAQOVazT8sRyXL3XRs.

I'm not sure why she's getting credit - the remix is nowhere to be seen on US Spotify whilst the original is at least in the high 100s. Ah well, if it gets Katy an artificial hit, I can't be too mad

Apparently it’s a mistake on Spotify. On Spotify both versions are being combined in US, because the original is bigger WW that’s the one that shows up even though the remix is on TTH. Most of the US streams will be coming from the remix now.

This seems to be floundering in the UK, genuinely thought it would be huge (kinda like I did with '365'). Unless there's a chance it will pick up later?

It's not been pushed in the UK yet (Apart from a low placement on HHUK). I'm not sure it will be.

For some reason on global they're separate and always were but on US it's combined. Only the remix is on the biggest US playlists; TGIF, Todays Top Hits, Summer Hits etc so it wouldn't make sense that it never went into the top 200 but the original did because even though the original is a big hit people will click on the one readily available out of laziness. It didn't even appear when it was used on US New Music Friday, still the original.
(The global streams are mostly coming from the US as well)

She's performing this on Idol Finale on Sunday! It's also rumoured the video is out Friday.
#31 on Billboard this week.

Lol that performance was fun, definitely one of her best vocally. I like that Daddy Yankee performed more of the original version and the remix makes him feel like the feature
I hope they really push for it to be one, I think it could be with the right exposure.
