Very excited for the results reveal tomorrow! Honestly, none of us except Joseph know who's won (unless he's spoiled it to people ofc x)

Poor Greyson. A shame as Dancing Next To Me is a bop.

QUOTE(JosephStyles @ Aug 24 2020, 09:25 PM) *
01 27 Carly Rae Jepsen - Run Away With Me
01 27 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You

Thank you to those of you who recommended/encouraged All I Want for Christmas Is You to be sent! I honestly thought it was too risky in August, but evidently not *.* Well done Carly too heart.gif

Janet was a bit underrated in this round, she deserved more love cry.gif A shame to see Greyson at the bottom, but it's understandable when there were a lot of classics and well-known recent hits in contention. It's a fantastic song *.*

My prediction for the overall winner is Carly! She seems to have been smashing it throughout.

Indeed! Poor Leno Eple. To be fair I knew it was risky but it seemed worth a shot - I really don’t think anything else would have done much better.

I’ve been really chuffed with how well they’ve done on the whole though. Not well enough to trouble the top lot but hopefully manage about 10th position over all which is better than I’d anticipated at the off.

August being the new December cheeseblock.png Impressed how well the risk paid off; I really don't think 'We Belong Together' would've done as well. (congrats Jay on both your artists winning also)

I'm really glad to see 'Heart To Break' managed to make the top half among all these big songs! happy.gif That's an impressive amount of Röyksopp votes too. I'm not really surprised at '2 On' so low because as much as I do like it, it feels more like a nice on-trend hit than a classic (granted, you could say the same for Pixie or Hailee - both of whom I voted - but that probably applies to all their singles). Of course it's logical as the final choice by being her biggest (non-Snakehips) hit though.

Honestly think you'd have been better off sacrificing Greyson in the final, since he probably wasn't going to get more than 3 votes anyway, and picking 'Dancing Next To Me' in an earlier, more viable round!
