Shocked at Paramore, I know they have a fanbase but didn't know they'd overthrow the likes of Taylor and The 1975, same for Loyle Carner!

Very happy to see it not being The 1975! Would have liked Loyle Carner to win it but I’m surprised he’s as high as 2nd. Can’t begrudge Paramore though, it is a great song too.

Yay the song I voted for won jump.gif some pretty surprising results here, who knew Loyle Carner had such an engaged fanbase (I guess his album did sell pretty well tbf but still shocked that he's beating the likes of The 1975, Arctic Monkeys and Wet Leg, and obviously Taylor Swift too although not sure voters in Radio 1's Hottest Record of the Year necessarily have the biggest overlap with Swifties so I'm not surprised she didn't win).
