Lmfao.

Using American Idol to its fullest, even when it's a mere headstone. :,)

Posted by: Juliano 5th April 2016, 02:41 AM

It sounds quite good though, I like it... but then I liked Booty at first. kink.gif

Posted by: SameBoy 5th April 2016, 02:47 AM

It's called 'Ain't Your Mama'

sounds good so far, can't wait. w00t.gif

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 5th April 2016, 02:51 AM

Ready for this! Slay me Queen!!!! w00t.gif

Posted by: Ja˙ 5th April 2016, 06:04 AM

Sounds promising, I wonder what happened with 'Breaking Me Down' though? I want to hear that in full!

Posted by: Joe. 5th April 2016, 08:12 AM

It won't be as good as Luh Ya Papi, but I'm ready.

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 5th April 2016, 09:07 AM

I wish she'd keep the latin-pop thing. It's clearly what the public want.

Posted by: Regina 5th April 2016, 12:26 PM

About time Jenny Lo *.*

Posted by: Liаm 5th April 2016, 04:36 PM

Sounds like an utter mess but then she hasn't done anything good since Live It Up... Feel The Light was ok I guess.

I think every song to ever be released is better then that.

Posted by: Hayzayy 5th April 2016, 06:52 PM

I LOVED "I Luh Ya Papi", everything about it was perfect. And that video. wub.gif

Posted by: JosephStyles 5th April 2016, 06:58 PM

I Luh Ya Papi was a MESS. I kinda liked it for that reason but it's far from her best, hopefully this is better.

Posted by: Jack 5th April 2016, 07:29 PM

Her single titles are so bad lately lmao.

Posted by: Davidson 5th April 2016, 07:36 PM

Sounds very much like a Meghan Trainor song from the clip (makes sense seeing as she wrote it). Not sure if I am here for that at all.

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 5th April 2016, 07:36 PM

I Luh Ya Papi, is absolutely glorious!! It's so underrated, it's criminal! And that video drink.gif

Posted by: JosephStyles 5th April 2016, 08:14 PM

Oh Meghan wrote it? ohmy.gif Excellent biggrin.gif

Posted by: Liаm 5th April 2016, 08:29 PM

Another clip can be heard here, below the clip already posted:

SINGLE COVER:

Posted by: Nick F1 6th April 2016, 08:21 PM

so love the cover, but they have used old pic from 2003 photoshoot

laugh.gif

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 6th April 2016, 08:52 PM

Love that cover!!!! wub.gif wub.gif

Posted by: Regina 6th April 2016, 08:56 PM

Horrid cover. Could they not use a picture from this decade?

Posted by: Scherz 6th April 2016, 08:59 PM

I thought it was fan made at first because the picture is so old.
She looks youthful but she was 13 years younger! laugh.gif

Posted by: mr_pmt 6th April 2016, 09:04 PM

So that is confirmed as being the single cover?

I like that a lot anyway, even if it is a 13 year old picture. blink.gif

*edit - just saw she tweeted it.

Posted by: Liаm 6th April 2016, 09:11 PM

It's not like she's really aged since then so why couldn't they use a newer picture? laugh.gif

Posted by: *Tim 6th April 2016, 09:14 PM

Nobody would question it if you were to say this was a 2016 picture.

At first I thought this was not that old, then I realised 2003 was 13 years ago!?!

Posted by: (Zach) 7th April 2016, 01:33 AM

I think it's blatantly obvious that it's an old picture. She still looks amazing, yes, but she has changed in 13 years. Mess.

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 7th April 2016, 10:15 AM

This has 'Louboutins' written all over it.

Posted by: Davidson 7th April 2016, 12:06 PM

Out there now and it's inoffensive but rather bog-standard.

What I have come to expect from Jennifer now.

Posted by: Regina 7th April 2016, 12:13 PM

I love it, shockingly kink.gif

Posted by: Liаm 7th April 2016, 02:14 PM

This is a bit crap. Sounds like a rejected Kat DeLuna demo from like 2009 before they struck gold with Run The Show laugh.gif

Posted by: Davidson 7th April 2016, 03:12 PM

Seems strange to me how many people want to forget about the whole Dr Luke thing as soon as a song they like comes out.

Posted by: Regina 7th April 2016, 03:19 PM

Nobody is forgetting it, but the fact remains that he has not been convicted, it's basically a case of "he said, she said". It's people's choice to want to work with him
and for fans to like his music. I personally feel there is much more to the Kesha story than is being heard anyway.
At the end of the day he is still a great producer and I'm not going to let him as a person and the things he has been accused of ruin my enjoyment of the songs
he's help make and that I love, this being one of them.

Posted by: JosephStyles 7th April 2016, 04:29 PM

I dislike Dr Luke as much as the next guy but if a song is good, it's good, that's all there is to it for me.

Don't care who produced it, the songs good!

Posted by: mr_pmt 7th April 2016, 04:35 PM

Maybe he made this in 2003 and it was from the cutting room floor like the artwork?

Nah, but on a serious note is Meghan actually providing backing vocals on this? It sounds overwhelmingly like her and Jenny herself sounds like she's impersonating her intonation-wise. It's a highly crap song though, sounds very demo-ish.

Yep, she provided both background vocals & co-wrote this song. It has her stamp all over it.

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 7th April 2016, 04:39 PM

Yeah must admit, I'm very let down with this, the preview sounded good, but hearing it in full, not keen. It literally sounds just like a Meghan song, there's no J Lo personality or impact on it at all, like J Lo might as well not be on it, and Meghan may as well have kept hold of it

Posted by: Liаm 7th April 2016, 04:41 PM

Even the worst of Meghan's debut is better than this.

I really liked this on first listen, bit of a bop!

Posted by: dijeizasin 7th April 2016, 05:09 PM

This is going to be massive hit for Jennifer. LA Reid and Dr. Luke work very well together.

Superb comeback single. Something very fresh for Jenny. Almost giving me Get Right teas. I think it will be a hit.

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 7th April 2016, 07:59 PM

I love M-Train but this isn't good...

Gonna repeat myself but this feels v. 'Louboutins' (ironically her last Epic single).

Posted by: troylovesmusic 7th April 2016, 09:20 PM

I'm really liking this very catchy and a new fresh sound for Jlo . Can see it possibly being her biggest hit since On The Floor .

Posted by: (Zach) 8th April 2016, 01:34 AM

Wow, this is her best single since Dance Again. I think it could do well if she manages decent radio support.

I hope this gains radio support as I am currently OBSESSED

(The performance was really good as well, she's still up there with the best performers of this time)

Posted by: Davidson 8th April 2016, 10:20 AM

She was brilliant on American Idol, although 'Let's Get Loud' completely outshone this.

I wish she would make another 'Let's Get Loud'. It is just so joyous and that carefree Latin vibe suits her so much more than Meghan Trainor trash.

#9 on iTunes in America.

Not to add to the rhetoric, but Dr Luke now has three artists in the Top 10, plus "Never Forget You" is Top 20.

Jlo is coming to the uk to promote "Shades Of Blue" and her new single

The Play hitmaker - who sizzled in an embellished frock during her final turn as a judge on the talent competition - dressed in a less glitzy, though nonetheless stylish, look for her flight, which saw Jennifer cross the pond and head to London.

The Music Video Is Here happy.gif

Posted by: Martyn 6th May 2016, 08:42 PM

I don't love it. So much product placement and her extensions look really obvious in the the last dance bit.

Posted by: Atonement 6th May 2016, 09:03 PM

Am I crazy or does one of the girls in the video look like Melanie C?

Posted by: *Tim 6th May 2016, 09:04 PM

She looks hella good. A shame this song has flopped into oblivion

Posted by: KWEEN_DEE 7th May 2016, 12:53 PM

Shocked it's still being bothered with.

Posted by: (Zach) 8th May 2016, 08:45 PM

Love the video. That dance sequence is on point. I'm glad they're continuing to push this and I still think it has the potential to smash.

Posted by: Neil 8th May 2016, 09:00 PM

I like the video, shame this is another (equally unjustified) Louboutins sized flop.

Posted by: Jimmy Jam 8th May 2016, 09:42 PM

The video is making me grow a fondness for the song. Hope it somehow picks up

Posted by: Euphorique 8th May 2016, 09:45 PM

She slayed the video and the song is pretty decent too

Posted by: Dinno 10th May 2016, 10:59 AM

Its doing well on Uk Itunes but it just needs to start picking up on Uk spotify though.

Posted by: mr_pmt 10th May 2016, 09:18 PM

Now that is how you do a pop video! It totally enhances and illustrates the song.

Posted by: liamk97 12th May 2016, 01:44 PM

Why does she get angry at the guy looking at her boobs and then in the next scene starts shaking her ass at the camera?

The video does bring the song alive a lot more than when it was just the audio, but it's still not one of her best. Dare I say it but it feels like they focused to much on the statement than they did the music. I mean, the "I ain't your mama" line is a good hook, but there's little else to support it.

I disagree. Yeah the "I ain't your mama" hook is great, but I think the rest of it is interesting enough to make it a very good song overall. Not her best by any means but also far from her worst.

I mean, the only thing that would improve it is having Sean Paul on it laugh.gif

It's better than her previous outputs released since "Dance Again".

Posted by: (Zach) 12th May 2016, 11:58 PM

I find this better than Dance Again as well. Haven't liked a single of hers this much since Papi. I thought the song was boring at first as well but it's a grower and also a slow burn.

Yes, it went for adds yesterday and its up to 132 on Uk iTunes it looks like its on its way back in top the top 100 again.

The song has gone top top 10 in Germany and will most likely go higher next week and it'll go to go top 20 next week in France. And those are 2 of the biggest music market so hopefully Uk will follow suit soon.
